What a week! Spring is starting to show itself, and the sun is shining almost every day over Stockholm. Wonderful! At the same time, we have had an absolutely hysterical week, with activities and events. varenda evening.

Evening webinars
I (Helena) have been busy with work this week, even in the evening. I have taken (and am still taking) a web-based course broadcast from the USA. The organisers of course think that the course is at a practical afternoon time, but for the small number of Swedes participating this time, the time is 20:00 - 21:30 in the evening. There have been courses on Monday evening and Wednesday evening, and the last opportunity is tonight ...
Annual General Meeting and presentation on Tunisia
Last Tuesday evening was the annual general meeting of the Association of Swedish Tourist Journalists, where we are now members together with the other travel bloggers in the group. Swedish Travel Bloggers. The association was also visited by the Tunisian tourist office, which gave a very inspiring account of the North African country. "I've been talking about travelling to Tunisia for quite some time, and of course I'm even more excited now.
In addition to seeing one of Tunisia's the world's most famous amphitheatres, the country offers sun and swimming, good food, wine, golf and even more history. We actually hope that we can go to Tunisia this autumn and experience this for real!
Three events: Ibiza, BBQ and new restaurant
Peter has been running to a lot of events all week. At the beginning of the week he went to a breakfast seminar about Ibiza, and after that he came home and was really attracted to this island, which apparently offers everything from parties to beautiful nature and history. If you're also curious about Ibiza, or have been there and have some tips for us, feel free to check out Peter's blog posts about Ibiza.
But there was no end of events here! On Wednesday, Peter first attended a barbecue event with Landmann and Caj P, and then moved on to the opening of the restaurant. Icha Icha at the T-Centre. As you can see, there was bubbly for him all that day ... If you want to know more about the latest in grilling, or about the new restaurant, you can check in here this weekend. Then Peter's report will come!
What has been the best part of your week?
The best part of our week has probably been all the travel inspiration, but we're also looking forward to taking it easy this weekend! What has been the best part of your week?
Did you miss the last Happy Friday? Read the Friday already? - time goes by so fast ...
Ruth in Virginia says:
Well-filled wine glasses, I must say!
Became curious about "Icha Icha"; seems to come from Japan...
means being "lovey-dovey in public". Sounds promising. 🙂
I admire you, Helena, for having the energy to study as you do.
Good night - my bloody hockey team lost the first game on the
way to the Stanley Cup. 🙁

What fun that you checked what the name means Ruth! 🙂 My course that I am taking is not really hard, but it is still a bit exhausting to have work in the evening ...

Wonderfully wonderful that Spring has come with sun and a little warmth so we have sat outside and had coffee several times.

I too have been busy this week, but yours seems to be more fun.
I have my "most fun of the week" ahead of me. Within an hour we are in the car on the way to Gothenburg and a cruise to Kiel.

Went to Tunisia for Christmas holidays in 1973 with my father. Christmas was not the best time, sandstorm for a week, kind of 😉.
The week has involved (and will continue to involve) a lot of happy meetings and meetings. Nice to meet friends 😀 But the weather... what happened to the weather? 😉
Have a nice and happy Friday!
13 April 2018 - 10:16
Helena says:
Wow, sandstorm ...! That sounds like some unnecessarily dramatic weather 😉.

What an intense but fun week you had. For me, it has also been a lot of work, but if I am soon to be free for just over five weeks, there is a lot to be fixed before.
After all, most things go a little easier when a glorious spring sun is flowing.
Tunisia is a really attractive destination. We had talked about going there on a golf trip when suddenly it was not possible to go there at all. Now we will see even if this year is fully booked in terms of longer trips in any case.
13 April 2018 - 10:36
Helena says:
How wonderful with such a holiday ahead!!! Tunisia seems to have really nice golf courses and (if you believe the tourist office) relatively good prices. We will try to get there at some point (maybe not with a focus on golf though).

An eventful week in the old neighbourhood. But also a trip to Stockholm and the ABBA museum. It has been years since we were in Stockholm. We in southern Sweden have Copenhagen

Glad you are coming to Stockholm! Right now the weather is super nice here, so we hope it stays that way!

Very nice in the pictures you show! And what speed and fan! Yes, but you are at the age when everything can be done 😀.
I've almost had a quiet week, curing my cold. But not work-free. The computer has had to work in my voluntary history work.
Happy Friday and enjoy the sun! 😀
13 April 2018 - 11:09
Helena says:
Voluntary history work sounds exciting! 🙂 Have fun!

Travel Linda says:
Wow, that's a lot of flying on Peter, but it's certainly been a fun week!
The best part of the week for me is that we are finally out with the motorhome. Right now it is on service in Örebro and we are out shopping for some stuff. Then we hope to find fun things all weekend!
13 April 2018 - 12:45
Helena says:
Great to be out with the motorhome! Wishing you a nice weekend!

I also looked up Icha Icha, although Ruth was even better at finding out what it means. I went to the restaurant's website. Great fun with collaborations with Swedish farms, but terribly annoying to see the menu with calorie indications and no prices.

We have taken the opportunity to celebrate today, Friday the 13th, because today is the 50th anniversary of our engagement, Birgitta & me. Personally, I think it's a fantastic Friday.

Wow! I think you are so talented and what a lot of energy you have! I myself struggle most with Amazon. Wonderful to be a customer but a h-e to be a seller. 🙂
