We write that FREEDOMtravel is a blog about travel, adventure and camping. And it's true! We blog every day and hope that you enjoy following our crazy adventures, both at home in the houseboat and while travelling. But FREEDOMtravel is also more than a blog!

A blog is a web page or part of a web page where updates (more or less personal) are regularly published in a feed. On a blog, you will always find the latest at the top, and if you wish, you can follow the feed via RSS readers such as Bloglovin. As a blog, we publish every morning at 06:00. You will find posts about travelling, but also about everyday life and about life in a houseboat.
What's more than a blog?
So, what do we mean by FREEDOMtravel being more than a blog? Well, we mean that by now we've also built up a pretty juicy list of travel guides about different destinations. First of all, we have all the destinations we have been to (over 300 destinations) which you can find under each continent, under "Destinations" in the menu.
Do you remember that a while ago we wrote about travel reports that written at the desk? You don't have to do this if you don't google, and instead check out our page of travel stories from around the world! So, what do we want to say with this? Well, we simply hope that you would like to tell your friends and acquaintances about our destination pages when looking for information and tips about a destination. We have worked hard to make these pages useful, and we really appreciate your support!

But it almost sounds as if a blog wasn't enough? I think you are a blog, because it is personal stories and experiences. The fact that you have collected a lot of interesting posts over the years is natural with experiences from a lot of travelling. A great travel blog, I think. I like your posts about motorhomes the most - unexpected, right? 😀

Interesting comment Anna, thank you! Yes, maybe it was stupidly expressed? No, I absolutely do not mean that a blog is not enough. But for me they are two different functions, a blog is something that scrolls and is updated, while our "pages" in the menu are static and are not structured like a blog in that way. But I did not really mean that one or the other would be better or worse ... I understand that many people with motorhomes like to read about motorhomes! It sometimes feels less natural for us in the winter months, as we ourselves do not use the motorhome so much. But today (ie the day after this post) it is about motorhomes 🙂
