Where Swedes go for their autumn holidays
In a few weeks' time, it will be autumn holidays and many people will be travelling abroad. The airline Norwegian has produced a list of the most booked destinations abroad among Swedish travellers during the autumn holidays. At the top of the list is London. The most popular destination outside Europe is Bangkok (8th place).

Digital revolution in the camping industry
Digital development is revolutionising the camping industry, according to Sweden's leading camping chain First Camp. When First Camp summarises the summer, it notes a sharp increase in customers on the company's digital platforms. During the summer of 2018, for example, traffic to the website increased by 170 per cent compared to the same period in 2017. In previous years, campers have preferred to pick up the phone and call rather than surf the web, but this year there is a change in trend.
The Satori trend is here
Satori is a concept in Zen Buddhism and describes a state when you are satisfied and have stopped chasing status and material things, and instead focus on balance and enjoyment. "We picked up on this trend at Stora Trenddagen earlier this year, where trend expert Stefan Nilsson mainly linked it to interior design and colours.
However, the link to travel seemed obvious to us", says Lina Eklund at Resia. She explains that they are seeing increased demand for feel-good trips, and that "Saturday Satori" is suitable for a free Saturday.
How SAS will reduce food waste
From October 2018, SAS is making it possible for more passengers to pre-order food on board on shorter flights. This will help reduce food waste and tailor a more personalised experience on board. As of 1 October 2018, it will be possible to pre-order food from the full day and evening menu on all SAS European flights of at least 80 minutes, instead of the previous option on flights of at least two hours.

London is perfect for a few days so I can understand that many people want to go there. A lot to see and do as well. Funny then that Spain is included with three different places. I like both Alicante and Malaga which offer a bit of everything. And Las Palmas is a good combo with both sun, bathing and experience on Gran Canaria. Yes, there is a lot to choose from. Trends come and trends go, but some destinations always remain. The Ellis beach on Rhodes has been around since the late 50s and is still going strong. Fun!

Yes, some destinations exist, I agree! Spain has a nice climate and is fairly affordable, so that's one reason.

Nice to get tips on beaches and upcoming autumn destinations. Yes, there will be no travelling but within the borders of Spain. Good, that you can keep track of food consumption on short trips. So you don't have to throw food away.
Satori Saturday sounds interesting÷)

Within Spain's borders doesn't sound too bad either 😉 .

Smart of SAS to try to take responsibility for food waste, which has certainly been large at times. Then they probably also benefit from the fact that even shorter trips can now order food, but a win-win situation that many people benefit from can't hurt.

The digital revolution in the camping industry was perhaps a bit of a surprise, even if it was a late arrival.
I had never heard of Satori, here I learnt something new again.
There is probably not much to say about the beaches. Of course, the number of photos depends on the number of travellers taking pictures...
