This week has been a crazy castle week for us. We have both visited a big and very famous castle, and a small and very unknown castle. Both visits were interesting! In addition, we have published three newspaper articles (in the same magazine) and visited perhaps the best travel fair of the year. What a week!
Castle Week
This has been a real castle week! On Sunday, when the weather was so nice, we went and saw one of the more famous castles in Stockholm. We haven't had time to write about it yet, but we took photos of course, so reports will come!
Later in the week, on Wednesday, we visited a castle that is much less well known. You could even say that it is the Stockholm's most hidden castle. We will, of course, report on this as well, and in the meantime you can guess two questions:
- Which is the famous castle we visited this week?
- Which is the unknown (hidden!) castle we visited this week?
Newspaper articles
If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram (or if you subscribe to Min Husbil magazine), you already know that we had no less than three (!) articles in the latest issue. Very funny! We wrote about Ireland, Amsterdam and Stockholm.
Travel fair
Yesterday, we visited the Travel News Market trade show. In our opinion, this is one of the best fairs of the whole year, where you meet tourist agencies, tour operators, airlines, travel journalists and travel bloggers.
This week, TravelNews reported that the location of the 210 exhibitors had been finalised and that 700 people had registered. As the event ends with firm (and since I work on Friday) we won't be able to tell you about this event until the weekend.
How has your week been? What has been your favourite part of the week?

Lena - good for the soul says:
1. I'm guessing Stockholm Castle (is that its name?!).
2. If it's the most unknown, I probably don't know it so I have no guess 😉.
The best thing this week, since last Friday, was probably the hiking trip on Ängsö this weekend and the cinema visit yesterday.
Have a nice Friday!

No idea about the castles... The famous one is perhaps Gripsholm or Skokloster? They are both located by the water, but so are most castles perhaps...?
Unfamiliar castles are unfamiliar to me... 🙂.
How nice to have so many articles published at the same time - congratulations! 😀
The best part of this week was definitely coming home from the hospital 😀.
Have a happy Friday!

What a fun week! One of several famous castles in the neighbourhood of Stockholm is Drottningholm. And then Stockholm Castle. There are more lesser known castles. Maybe Sturehov Castle.
I missed the travel fair this year. It would have been nice to be there. But I'm having a good time here in the Spanish summer house and I'm not really looking forward to Stockholm.
Great fun with the articles. Congratulations!
Best of the week? Sun, blue sea, +20 degrees and nice long walks along the sea. And the Spanish environment of course. Well, the cava tasting of course.

Fun with all the guesses on castles! We will soon have a long castle list 🙂 Twenty degrees and long walks sound nice! Wish you a nice weekend!

Great articles in Husbilstidningen!
A travel fair sounds nice. We miss out on most of it, but being retired gives me a whole new set of options for weekday excursions.
The week has flown by, but last night's evening with colleagues at the Arena Spa is one of the highlights, as is the meeting with childhood friends on Wednesday.

Thanks for the guesses! We soon have a huge and interesting castle list 🙂 And thank you, yes it was fun with the articles! The fair was also fun! I do not know if there is so much concrete at such a fair, but you create and maintain contacts, and get some ideas 🙂.

No idea about the castles, but if you read the comments, you have ideas for several excursions!
Will read the motorhome magazine this weekend. Well done for including three articles!
For myself, the week has been tough with trainings and long days at work, not much exciting to report on! But I look forward to being a dog walker this weekend!

It is certainly fun to have your articles published. I'm terrible at castles, so I'll refrain from guessing.
