Caravan Stockholm 2019 has finally started! During these days we are at the motorhome and caravan fair Caravan Stockholm in Kista. Very, very fun! During the week we have also managed to hang out in Åre and get locked in a basement. Happy Friday!

So, what a week! We came home from World Cup in Åre on Sunday evening, and since then it has been busy with both work and blog. For some reason, I (Helena) always thought that the fair would start on Friday, but it already started on Thursday ... One day less for preparations then!
Locked in a basement ...
On Wednesday we went to the German tourist office to pick up some brochures and maps for the fair. A German tourist office representative, who had just come to Sweden for an internship during her master's programme, followed us down to the basement where the brochures were located. What happened? Well, the magnetic card worked to go into the basementbut when we went out again, it stopped working, and we couldn't get out of the basement ...
It was approaching five in the afternoon, but luckily we managed to get hold of a lawyer at the Swedish-German Chamber of Commerce. "I'm calling on an unusual matter, but we're locked in your basement..." We didn't even get a parking ticket, despite being late for the car. Happy Friday then!
Caravan Stockholm 2019
Caravan Stockholm 2019 kicked off last Thursday with a bang. The fair runs from 14-17 February at Kistamässan in Stockholm, and we are hanging out (as often as we can) in our stand at Destinationstorget. Feel free to come by and chat away for a while!
We are also giving two lectures on summer motorhome travel through seven countries and 50 destinations. Great fun if you want to come and listen! These are the times you can hear us on stage:
- Friday 15/2 16:00-16:30 pm
- Sunday 17/2 at 14-14:30
Of course, there's also lots of other fun stuff going on at Caravan Stockholm 2019! There are both motorhomes and accessories and the stage programme includes everything from Motorhome School to Shirley Clamp. Read more at the fair's website.

This week has just flown by and there are now eight days left in my working life. It feels so strange, but at the same time incredibly good.

We have been to the bigger Elmia is a few years ago!
