Sri Lanka meeting, TV series and Facebook

The days are flying by and it's already Friday again. The best part of the week for us is perhaps that we have started re-watching all the seasons of the TV series Game and Thrones, and every day we look forward to the evening's episode on the TV sofa. We have also had a nice and inspiring meeting at the Sri Lankan embassy. Sri Lanka is a country we would love to visit again!

Sri Lanka meeting

On Wednesday, the Sri Lankan embassy organised a meeting together with the airline Emirates. There were mainly people from travel agencies present, but also some travel writers.

We were told that tourism from Sweden has increased significantly and they want to tell Swedish travellers that there are great opportunities for nature and adventure. I Sri Lanka you can not only experience animals and culture, but also play golf, sail, surf or try rafting.

Sri Lankas ambassad

One of the airlines flying to Sri Lanka is Emirates, with a stopover in Dubai. They told us that they have a very young and modern fleet, and were giving away some flights. But we were not so lucky to win ...

However, we were treated to wine and good traditional Sri Lankan food. Our fellow blogger Gunilla, from the blog 4000 milI live in Umeå but happened to be in Stockholm for work. Very fun to meet! We had so much to talk about that in the end, completely involved in conversation, we realised that we were almost alone at the event ... time to go home!

TV series

We rarely have time to watch TV because we work all the time, but sometimes we make time for someone TV series. It's almost time for season 8 of the fantasy series Game of Thrones, and we can't wait. love really this series. Soooo relaxing to step into a world that doesn't even exist in reality. Talk about travel! We're currently rewatching all the first seven seasons to be prepared for the premiere of season 8. If you want, you can read our guide to Game of Thrones season 8!

Facebook

We put a lot of focus on our blog, and sometimes it's hard to keep up with our social channels as much as we would like. The last week I have tried to put a little more love on our Facebook page and it has resulted in a few more followers. Great! Do you also want to follow? Find our Facebook page here.
