Viking Line's new vessel will be called Glory

During the spring, Viking Line held a major competition to decide the name of the company's new cruise ship. Thousands of name suggestions were received from Sweden, Finland, Åland and the rest of the world. Of these, ten final entries were selected and voted on by over 30,000 people. Viking Line has now decided that the new ship will be called Viking Glory. The person who first suggested the name will be offered two places of honour on the maiden voyage in 2021.

OKQ8 to become climate neutral

In connection with the launch of OKQ8's sustainability report, an ambitious target for the environmental impact of its own operations is presented: by 2030, CO2 emissions should be 0.0. A number of measures will be taken to fulfil the target, including renewable energy sources at stations and offices, sustainable transport, a transition from the use of plastic to sustainable alternatives and a continued focus on reducing food waste.
