Pakoštane in Croatia is a small town nicely situated next to the Adriatic Sea. We made a small excursion here by car, and took the opportunity to both check out the city and the campsite. There was also swimming, ice cream and some shopping.

Pakoštane in Croatia
Pakoštane in Croatia is a small coastal village in the region of Zadar, about 3.5 miles south of the city of Pakoštane. Zadar. We made an excursion here in connection with our visit to the nice little town of . Biograd which is about 8 kilometres north of Pakoštane.
Pakoštane has just over 2000 people, so it's a small town. However, with its beautiful waterfront location, it is a nice little town to visit. A long promenade runs along the waterfront, and many small boats are moored and bobbing.
Pakoštane in Croatia has a nice little church and narrow cobbled alleys, which are really charming. There are also a few restaurants and shops.
Shopping and ice cream in Pakoštane in Croatia
Pakoštane is not a big town, but there are plenty of small tourist shops selling summer clothes, hats, bags, sunglasses and jewellery. Peter likes jewellery and couldn't resist buying a bracelet. Bracelets and rings always tend to be too small for him, but after a seller willingly stretched out a bracelet, it was fine ... Then it was ice cream in the harbour!
Camping Kozarica
The Kozarica campsite is a ten-minute walk from the centre of Pakoštane. There are about 500 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, as well as cottages and some apartments for rent. The pitches are nicely located among the shady trees.
The campsite has everything you need, including a restaurant, bar and shop. There's a nice little pool down by the water, but above all you can swim in the crystal clear sea.
The beach at camping Kozarica
The water in Croatia is often crystal clear, and the same is true here. You can choose to enter from a gravel beach, rocks or a bathing ladder. We took a dip from one of the jetties. At this time of year, it's a bit cool to step in, but as soon as you take a dip, it feels like you can stay in and swim forever. Wonderful!

Nice with these small resorts and perfect to come now before the big tourist rush. When we have sailed in Croatia, we have visited several small places for night harbours and always appreciated the "small".
Wishing you a continued good journey.

What a lovely little town.
Unfortunately, when you go on a trip, like our motorhome trip in Croatia last year, you often plan so many stops that you miss these little gems.

What a lovely little town. Even the campsite is very beautiful. Great fun that you advertise small towns that many people have probably never heard of. But maybe that's the point of the press trip. Good for you!
