Then it was Friday again! We have had lots of work all week, and time has really gone fast. Nevertheless, we have had time for both a crayfish disc and to think about new collaborations with some of our best partners.
Table of contents
Crayfish dinner and hanging out with the neighbours
This weekend it was time for the annual crayfish disc with the neighbours in the houseboat marina. There was dancing almost immediately after the crayfish, and a really good atmosphere. The next day we were invited to a shrimp omelette at one of the neighbours and another day later it was time for a "residents' meeting". The world's best neighbours, just saying!
Co-operation with Estonia and Germany
This week we have also had meetings (in person or by phone) with our partners representing Estonia and Germany - i.e. the Estonian and German Tourist Board. We are very happy about these collaborations and we have a very good relationship.
When you see "In cooperation with ..." at the top of a blog post, it means we've received some financial help (which really helps us) - but it also means cooperation on another level. Both of these tourist agencies (and sometimes others) help us with tips and fact-checking that allows us to write better stories for you. We've also been brainstorming fun collaborations for the future, and the German Tourist Board, for example, has promised to visit us at our stand at The Electricity Fair. Perhaps the Estonian Tourist Board will also be able to come.
How are things going with the motorhome?
Perhaps you are following the project FREEDOM 2.0? We are working on getting our campervan back into driveable and fresh condition and we have already told you about step 1, which was to charging the batteries of the motorhome, cleaning and fixing the lights. When we travelled to Poland and Germany on a sailing trip, we took the opportunity to return the motorhome for service. Several things were fixed but not everything, so we have to return it again. We'll tell you all about it here on the blog on Sunday!
Best this week?
The best part of this week was hanging out with the neighbours in the houseboat marina, and our great cooperation with the Estonian and German tourist offices. What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
In the coming week, we will be able to tell you about a new exciting journey. We will also tell you more about Germany and maybe also about Skåne. Don't miss it!

Wow, that's a lot of rape! It was really man-high! (Last picture that is)
Lovely with good neighbours! I grew up with incredible neighbours, most of the parents (of my friends/neighbours) still live where mom and dad live, they hang out and help each other. Incredibly important considering that they are not teenagers anymore (my parents are 82 and the others are around there too).
The best part of the week was the day by the sea at a new beach we found near us.

Wonderful with such neighbourliness, nice collaborations and not least that the motorhome is on the move again 🙂 .
The best thing about my week has of course been to get back to NY and also FINALLY get away on a new cruise. AS I have looked forward to this after the last, very difficult summer 😀.
Have a happy Friday - I will!

Lovely to have good neighbours! So are we, and tonight a whole bunch of us are going to the home of a couple of them to eat Vätterkräftor.
The week has been full of wonderful meetings but the best has probably been my two days in Eksjö together with three friends who I started first grade with this week 58! years ago.
It will be exciting to see what kind of exciting travelling you do next.

What fun it is to have a neighbourhood watch group "offering" crayfish and shrimp omelettes. Not bad at all.
We are equally pleased that you will continue your co-operation with the German and Estonian tourist offices. It's a win-win situation for you and them.
Wishing continued good luck with the motorhome.
