We checked out the motorhomes and accessories at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2019. This year's fair was a packed event with lots of motorhomes and trailers, an unusual amount of accessories and of course a lot of parties and fun. Today we're sharing some of the motorhomes and accessories that caught our eye.

Elmia Caravan Motorhome 2019
This year's edition of Elmia Husvagn Husbil attracted 35,800 visitors. Not bad! For our part, it was an extremely intense weekend with six lectures, own stand, meetings with new and old friends, prawn feast and Oktoberfest.
There was little time to look around the fair, but we still took the time to walk a few laps. You have to check out some news when you are on site! The picture of us in the stand was taken by Håkan and Carina, the bloggers behind the motorhome blog. Motorhome holidays and adventures.
Motorhomes at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2019
There were of course lots of motorhomes on display at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2019, and we have previously written several reports:
- New Baron from Elnagh
- Motorhomes and caravans that stand out
- Wheelchair in a motorhome - accessible motorhome from Elnagh
There were plenty of flatbeds and larger motorhomes on the show floor, and perhaps the most obvious news was that many motorhomes were built on Mercedes chassis. Previously, almost all of them were built on Fiat chassis, but now it was clear that Fiat had competition.
Interesting motorhomes at the fair
An interesting motorhome was Kabes new van. Built on a Mercedes chassis, this flatbed is 6.90 metres long and equipped with a really smart layout. The campervan has two long beds in the rear, and you can choose to sleep across the entire width or to have walking and loading space in between. We really liked this campervan for its generous headroom and all the practical cupboards.
We also looked at Etrusco, which is an Italian entry-level brand and therefore a little cheaper. The motorhomes have a bright and pleasant design and are available in both longer and shorter models.
The French brand Chausson often stand out with different and exciting floor plans. Last year, for example, we took a look at a Chausson with two compartment doors. This year we checked out the very special Chausson 778 Premium, which features the largest bathroom on the market in the rear of the car. At the touch of a button, the bathroom can be lowered and the large roof bed can be hoisted down instead.
Outside the Elmia exhibition halls were Azimoo parked. Cool! An adventure car like this could really get our travel bug going. This campervan would be fun to roll around in!
Outside there were also Starliner with two motorhomes with slide-outs, i.e. fold-out side walls. The motorhomes are built in fully moulded fibreglass and completely to order, so you can get exactly the interior you want.
Accessories at Elmia Caravan Motorhome 2019
There was an unusual amount of accessories at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2019. I don't know if roof tents count as accessories, but a number of cool ones were at least displayed outdoors outside the fair. The tents come from Gentle Tent.
We also found lots of accessories at the Kama Fritids stand, including plates, storage and cushions decorated with motorhomes and caravans.
We also came across an inflatable sofa. It looked a bit inviting after long days at the fair, but we didn't end up with a sofa. However, we did take the opportunity to shop for some other accessories for our FREEDOM motorhome. We'll tell you about it soon!
Did you also visit Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2019? Did you find an interesting motorhome or some exciting accessories?

Oh, yes, of course the owners found a lot of new things for me. Got chair covers from Ullbädden that are really nice for the owners to sit in, a handy hand fire extinguisher from Maus. Then there were all those little things so it was all loaded in a lot.
The owners also thank you for the three nice lectures they attended.

Accessories that we didn't know we needed always come home with us from Elmia.
Azimoo and the like are really cool, but we probably won't go on such cool tours on our own.

Rooftop tents really feel like a new upcoming trend? And it sounds quite practical actually... 🙂 ...

We see more and more roof tents in different designs when we are out on the road now.
Bought bamboo plates in the spring and how nasty to eat on when the cutlery scratches, just like the chalk on the blackboard Hua. Now they were left at home and two porcelain plates are included? Maybe we should have gone to the fair and bought something new?
18 September 2019 - 17:48
Helena says:
Oh, is that an unpleasant sound? That's not much fun. I have thought that the bamboo plates seem very nice, but I hadn't thought about the sound ...

Wonderful days at Elmia and of course there was a lot to bring home, not only things that should be in the motorhome, but also things that easily slip into the stomach.
