M/S Molly is a charter boat located in the centre of Stockholm, and last Thursday evening I (Helena) was on board for dinner and a tour of the southern parts of the city. The hosts for the boat trip were the company Jetflite, which arranges chartered flights. A really, really nice trip!

Evening on a chartered boat
We were invited to an evening on board the chartered boat M/S Molly together with some other bloggers and travel organisers. Peter was in Switzerland so I (Helena) went alone to Strandvägen. I probably came in a little unnecessarily good time, but what does it matter when a happy and nice waitress is waiting on deck with bubbles and canapés in the sunshine?
M/S Molly
M/S Molly is located on Strandvägen and can be chartered by companies or individuals for conferences, kick-offs, breakfast seminars, weddings or birthday dinners. You can choose to rent the boat in the harbour, or charter it with a captain and take a tour of Stockholm's waters. On board there is a fine restaurant, lounge and hot tub. You can have table service for 28 people or mingle and buffet for up to 46 people. You can read more at the boat's website.
Dinner with a top chef
The head chef on board is the noble chef Johnny Johansson. In addition to offering a fantastic three-course menu, Johnny also brightened up the evening with his good humour.
Tour of southern Stockholm
The M/S Molly did a tour around southern Stockholm, which was really interesting. I don't know these areas very well, especially from the water. I had to repeatedly check the GPS to know where we were. A bit funny was that the blogger Ditte, with the blog In the middle of ..., watched from his home as we chugged along!
Locking with M/S Molly
The most exciting part was when we had to go through the lock. Hammarbyslussen. A bit interesting to lock with a houseboat!
Nice evening with blog friends
It was a nice evening, and not least it was fun to talk for a whole afternoon/evening with the blog friends Petra, from Pellas Inspiration and Marlene from the lifestyle magazine You in focus. We run into each other quite often at different events, but we don't often have time to talk.
Nice Stockholm evening on M/S Molly
The finest light was actually when we glided back to Stockholm and Strandvägen. A fantastic boat trip that I really enjoyed!
So what is Jetflite?
So, what is Jetflite, the company that organised this event, you might ask? Jetflite is a Finnish company that has established itself in Sweden and has jet aircraft for charter. The aircraft carry around 20 passengers and can be chartered by both companies and private individuals.
The aircraft is also used for special transport and as an ambulance flight, if someone needs to fly home to Sweden after a serious injury or illness while travelling abroad. We say thank you to Jetflite for a pleasant journey in a chartered flight... no, in a chartered boat, we mean!

Understand that it was a nice trip. Molly is often in the neighbourhood here and locks so we usually see her. And just this evening we saw you from the balcony. You had perfectly captured our house there behind the houseboat Gratia, with all the flowers on it.
Nice with a trip around here in nice weather and to lock with Molly in the Hammarbyslussen. Even seeing the city from the water in the evening is cosy, Good food and drink and meeting other bloggers is also nice in itself.
(I know that the old ping pong player JO Wallner is a co-owner of Molly).
