What a week! Peter has been hiking in the Swiss Alps and I (Helena) have been running at events all week here in Stockholm. Very fun, but oh well, maybe a little too intense. This is what the week has looked like!

Switzerland and jobs
Peter recently accepted a trip to Switzerland, and suddenly and hilariously he left at the beginning of this week. He has had a very intense (and physically tough!) trip and doesn't have time to blog, but reports will come later!
I (Helena) could not come to Switzerland as I am currently booked up with a series of webinars at work. In addition, I had to take over Peter's fully booked "event calendar". What a week!
Sunday - Foodstock on Fjäderholmarna
Last Sunday we visited the food festival Foodstock on Fjäderholmarna, together with our friends Lennart and Beata. We had a really nice day together (even if we had some opinions about the organisation).
Monday - Evening on Tanzania
On Monday evening it was time for an evening about Tanzania in the journalist association we are part of. The Tanzanian Ambassador in Stockholm welcomed us and then we got to listen to Swedish Hazze from Hazzes Tanzania Safaris. Hazze grew up in Tanzania as the child of a missionary couple, speaks fluent Swahili and is passionate about the country. Interesting!
Tuesday - Opening of Roots and residents' meeting in the marina
In the middle of the night between Monday and Tuesday, Peter left for the airport to travel to Switzerland. I (Helena) took over his calendar with booked events and on Tuesday it said "16:00 Downtown Camper". What I would do there was unclear, but I made it, and it turned out to be the opening of "Roots”.
Roots has 13 meeting rooms of various sizes and offers a range of activities for meeting participants, such as city walks, cycling, canoeing and wellness. There is also a café adjacent to Drottninggatan, serving mainly vegetarian dishes. I mingled for a while and then hurried to the residents' meeting at home in the marina ...
Wednesday - Evening on Sri Lanka
On Wednesday evening it was time to listen to the second ambassador of the week, the ambassador of Sri Lanka. The Embassy of Sri Lanka, in cooperation with Emirates, organised a evening on Sri Lanka. I mingled with some blogger friends, ate Sri Lankan food and got a lot of nice memories from our Sri Lanka trip last winter.
Thursday - Boat trip in Stockholm with M/S Molly
On Thursday afternoon it was time for a boat trip! Together with some other bloggers as well as representatives of travel agencies, I went on board the nice M/S Molly. We were invited by the company Jetflite and it was a really nice tour through Stockholm. I think I need to tell you a bit more about this tomorrow!
Best this week
The best part of this week has of course been all the fun things that have happened, and not least all the nice meetings with bloggers, journalists and friends. What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
The coming week will be intense ... again. We will prepare for, and then roll with the motorhome towards the fair. Scandinavian Caravan Show. The big concern is the motorhome, which has been taken to the garage for a repair. broken coupling. The must but we haven't heard anything from the workshop yet ...

What a fun week you have had even though it sounds exhausting with both work and all the events. Here everything has been the best of the week until this very moment when we are sitting at a car repair shop in Potes, Picos de Europa with a totally discharged battery (or a broken generator). Today we had planned to go up to the cable car in Fuente De......

Very fun! Even if it sometimes becomes a bit much at once ... But oh how annoying with the battery that does not work! Hope it resolves quickly and smoothly!

Wow, it was a busy week but certainly a nice one.
Hope now FREEDOM can take you towards Jönköping and Elmia. I know that my male owner has planned to attend your lectures so he has marked them as favourites in the Elmia app so he now has an overview of the day and time.
The best thing about my week is that my garage is now finished, for now. Now the back system in the garage is ready and I suspect that the owners will now try out how they want everything in my garage.

How nice that your male owner wants to come to our lectures! Tell him to come and have a chat too! 🙂 We really hope that Freedom will manage to roll, that's the concern right now ... Great that the garage is ready!

I don't know how you manage. I mean, when do you have time to work? It will be fun to see how Peter has had it in Switzerland. He may have discovered some muscles he didn't know he had;-)

Same here, BP! I'm getting tired just thinking about it.
read everything Helena has been up to this week. Running from
one meeting to another on the same evening.
Please Helena, don't break up! Don't drag you
"a broken coupling" so you end up in a workshop.
There is a word "VILA" - Don't forget it - PLEASE!

Ruth, thank you for your thoughtful comment! Yes, it was a bit much right now ... Will try to find some time to rest in between. Not so easy sometimes, when you are in the middle of a lot of commitments and things that happen ... But promise to think about it! Wish you a nice weekend!

Helena says:
BP, haha you can ask yourself that ... But right now I only work 50 per cent so that's why it goes together. But it's still on the hair I must say ... And yes, mountain climbing in thin air was a challenge I realised ...!!!
