Happy Friday! I (Helena) have been a grass widow for a few days, but today Peter comes home from Northern Ireland. Already now I can offer some "sneak peak" photos from the (scared) festivities over there!

Peter has celebrated Halloween in Northern Ireland
If you are going to go all in because Halloween is of course to be celebrated at Irelandor even better, in Londonderry/Derry in Northern Ireland. And that's exactly what Peter has done! He was invited on a press trip, and since he loves festivals and fancy dress, there was little hesitation.
Why didn't we travel together?
You may be wondering why we didn't travel together. We always insist on travelling together - partly because it's more fun and partly because we need two of us to take photos, film, drive drones, take notes, blog, Instagram and so on. But sometimes that's not the case.
When Peter recently travelled alone to Verbier in Switzerland it was because that week I had to organise three webinars at work. This time, I stayed at home because Northern Ireland could only offer a place for Sweden.
What has Peter done in Londonderry/Derry?
The gang in Londonderry/Derry consists of journalists, bloggers and youtubers. from all over the world. I have heard about the French, Italians, Australians, Chinese and Japanese. Peter seems to be the only one from Scandinavia, but from the pictures it looks like he blended in ...
In the photos, they were getting ready to meet Londonderry/Derry by night... More reports coming soon, of course!
What have I done as a grass widow?
Seriously, my week has been far less exciting. I've been working and in the evenings I've been eating kassler. Not that I love kassler, but it's so damn practical to have a piece in the fridge and cut a slice a day and fry it with some vegetables ... Peter laughs at me because I am so lazy when I have to cook for myself.
Best this week?
The best thing this week is of course Peter's trip to Northern Ireland - and that he's coming home again today! I can manage on my own, but it's more fun when he's home... What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
The week ahead includes the Travel News Market, a fun fair and meeting place for the travel industry. And at the end of the week it's time for camping cruise!

JoY says:
Hahaha there were some real Halloweeners, fun.
The thing about cooking when you're alone, boring, I know what you mean about kassler. I make an omelette myself, but Jakob cooks "real" food for himself.
This week we have taken the second dose of Dukoral.
Have a nice weekend

Impressive with those who make real food for themselves! 🙂 Dukoral!? Wow, how exciting! Where does it go?

Emma, sun like sun? says:
I understand that Halloween suits Peter! Couldn't you have taken Norway or Denmark's place if they weren't there? Aren't you from Skåne? Well, then you could have taken Denmark, as it once belonged to it!
Kassler, wow, that was a long time ago! Not available in Spain as far as I know.
Best of the week? Almost to the point where I have to say that two envelopes arrived on time. How sad does that sound? But phew! The Notary Public documentation has not gone astray!
Have a wonderful weekend together! Now I will go out into the sun and sit down, 27 degrees ...

Haha, yes Peter usually thinks I'm half Danish 😉 The notary public document? It sounds important! Must look at your blog 😉 And 27 degrees, waow! Wish you a nice weekend!

Fun with Halloween just in Ireland and it seems to have been a great draw. Have experienced it a couple of times in the US and it was also very fun. But otherwise I refrain from this.
And how time flies.
Best of the week here? Our trip along the Spanish Atlantic coast A trip that didn't turn out as planned. But still very good. It's a fantastically beautiful area that gave us an appetite for more.
Some new jobs that have come in are also great fun.
Now it is the Spanish summer cottage that applies for a while and +28 in the shade feels quite ok. And a good book
Have a nice weekend.

Hahaha! Yes, when Peter is having fun in Ireland, you eat cassoulet. Peter is the cook in your household, so I understand you. Personally, I would have bought food out and eaten;-)
Funny pictures. Oh perfect that Peter already had a wig, now it came in handy again. Does he/you have a set of "pancy dress" clothes (like dirndl and lederhosen at Elmia) or can you borrow such clothes from the organiser? Who organised the press trip to Ireland, when so many non-Europeans were present? Because it is not cheap to travel from Japan/Australia to Ireland directly. It's nice that you were the only blog from Slandinavia that was there. A bit surprising I think.

Helena says:
Peter's wig is included here and there. Nice of you to recognise it! 🙂 Well, we probably don't have a large set of suits ... 😉 Dirndl and lederhosen we bought ourselves, but the budget version from Partykungen. Not so expensive! A few weeks ago I lent my dirndl to another blogger, so it has been to two parties! 🙂 In Ireland, it was the Irish tourist office that fixed the clothes for Peter. And they are the organisers of the press trip.

Perfect Peter! What a lovely photo of Peter and the
other two. - The husband of one of my Swedish blogger friends
dressed up as Boris Johnson, but Peter's wig takes the prize.
