There haven't been many press releases this week, perhaps due to the holiday season between Christmas and New Year? In any case, we have scraped together some news. This week it's about a new airport, a new ski resort, a new ferry and New Year's Eve celebrations for dogs.

Record number of dogs spend stress-free New Year in hotels
Arlanda Airport has a one-mile radius fireworks ban, something that Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport has taken note of. For the seventh year in a row, the hotel is organising "Happy Dog", a fireworks-free New Year with various activities for animal lovers and their pets. "Since the start in 2013, the number of four-legged guests has increased every year. This year, the rooms were already booked on Valentine's Day," says Björn Callin, CEO of Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport.

What great photos from Himmelfjäll Dryden posted. He was really worth the link!
I actually had to google Holyhead. Never heard of it. Good to have such a solid connection between England and Ireland.
Very smart of Clarion to take advantage of the fireworks ban. Celebrating New Year in a hotel with or without a dog is certainly not wrong!
