Taking photos with our new iPhone 11 is really fun. It really is a huge difference from shooting with our old mobiles. This week we can also tell you that we have a little trip coming up. Happy Friday then!

Taking photos with the iPhone 6
With our previous mobile phones, the iPhone 6+, it really wasn't possible to take photos at all. All the photos were super bad. It's a shame because it's difficult to take the system camera with you on exactly all occasions. I do like to take pictures with my "real" camera, but it's handy to have my mobile phone as a complement.
Taking photos with the iPhone 11
Switching from iPhone 6 to iPhone 11 is a shocking experience when it comes to photography. Now you can actually use your mobile phone to take photos! Yesterday I took a photo on the way to work, and a photo on the way home. I quickly edited the morning photo in the camera app. I haven't done anything with the evening photo at all.
Food and exercise
We are pretty much on track right now in terms of food and exercise. We walk to my work every day, and Peter runs home. The last two weeks we've also managed to do an exercise programme almost every other day.
Peter continues to serve his 'plates' with lots of goodies in the form of rice, fish or seafood, sometimes halloumi and lots of fruit and vegetables of various kinds. This is accompanied by ... water! Of course we sometimes drink wine, but right now we have a pretty good routine of drinking water.
A little journey underway
We've been home for quite a "long time" now, for us, and it's almost been a bit nice. But soon we are starting to feel ready for adventure! We start with a little mini-press trip to Tallinn by the end of the coming week.
Best this week?
This has been a really good week! The trip to Haga Park in Solna was super nice, training is going pretty well and it's fun to take photos with the iPhone 11! What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
During the coming week, we are planning another mini-trip in Stockholm, and then we will be travelling to Tallinn. Don't miss to also follow us on @freedomtravelnews on Instagram, if you don't already!

Is there such a big difference in the camera on the new mobile phone? It's great. You almost always have your mobile phone with you.
Here we are also good at exercising and eating well, I hope that continues. We have a tendency to be periodic when it comes to exercise.
We also have a trip coming up, in a couple of weeks it will be skiing in northern Italy. A whole winter without snow feels strange.
Wishing you a nice weekend.

Yes, the difference is huge. It's like night and day! Very convenient to be able to take photos with it, because you can't always take your system camera with you. Great that training is going well, and nice with skiing to look forward to! We are also periodic when it comes to exercise ...

I have a similar iphone 11 pro and it is super nice to take photos with. When you take photos and it is dark outside, it changes and it becomes a brighter picture. Big difference to take photos now 🙂 Good luck with your new mobile phone too.

Funny that you have the same experience of the mobile phone! Yes, it will be a completely different thing to take photos with this!

Oh nice trip to Tallinn 🙂 I also invested in an iPhone 11 recently and agree with such a big difference in the photos from iPhone 8 to iPhone 11. Nice weekend hugs

Thank you very much! Glad you also got an iPhone 11! So nice to also be able to use the mobile phone to take photos sometimes, I think.

Can only join the chorus of praise for an iPhone 11 pro, switched from an iPhone 7 plus to an 11 pro max.
It was absolutely possible to take photos with the 7 as long as there was good light, twilight photos or in poorly lit environments, it was no highlight at all and that is where the 11 pro max really comes into its own and you notice the big difference.
I have a Gorillapod for the iPhone which makes the picture even better.
Keep up the training.

Well, you already know what we mean! Gorillapod ... what is it? 😉

It is a stand with bendable arms, you can put it on a table, wrap it around a pole, etc.

I'm also thinking about buying an iPhone 11, my iPhone 6, which is four years old, now has to sit on charge almost around the clock to work so it feels like it's time. The boyfriend recently switched to an 11 and when we were in Dublin a few weeks ago, I borrowed his phone all the time, especially when it started to get dark, because I discovered how much better the pictures are. 🙂 Have a nice weekend! 🙂

I had the same problem with charging my old iPhone. Get a new one, it's really worth it! 🙂

Isn't photography fun when you find a phone with good camera quality?
I've also just got a new Huawei, it's absolutely the same standard as my system camera, but it's definitely quality that works 😀.
31 January 2020 - 8:55
Helena says:
Yes, it is more fun! Huawei is known for its good cameras! We thought about one, but then it felt a bit exhausting to change the model 😉.

We also got new phones, Huawei, in the summer and what a difference in photography. Now it doesn't feel necessary to always carry the system camera, although that's another thing!
Here we woke up to a white day although it will disappear until tomorrow.
We are also starting to get travel withdrawal but February offers grandchildren's visits, spa weekend, concert, musical and visits from good friends interspersed with some work so four weeks will probably go fast, then we take off for Spain ....

Helena says:
We understand that Huawei has really good cameras! We actually thought about buying them, but then it felt hard to change models, and then we realised that the new iPhone is also good. Exciting things you have in front of you! 🙂

Right now I can't see the pictures. It's a bit up and down with wiffit on the boat sometimes...
I think Anders' mobile phone (Samsung S5, 6 years old) takes really good pictures. But it's getting a bit slow (don after person, haha!). He is thinking about getting a new one, but is waiting for the "right" model.
I drive with my compact camera (I don't remember which one in the order, I break them from time to time) which always comes with me. I can't manage to take photos with my phone, as I can access all the buttons and apps all the time... In addition, I want to be able to zoom in an easy way.
Have a really happy Friday! We will soon step ashore in Cozumel, it will be nice to see both Cozumel and Playa del Carmen again 🙂 .

Like Ama, I always have my compact camera in my handbag. I don't own a system camera, as I would never be able to manage all the settings.
I still have my old iPhone 5S, but I hardly ever take photos with it, as the photos are terrible, just as you say. I'm glad you're happy with your new iPhone 11. The pictures you took are great.
