Right now we have calm days at home in Sweden. Fantastic! We're blogging, fixing things, socialising with friends and watching TV series and documentaries. That's something you need to do at least once a year, right?

Quiet days in the marina
It has been unusually quiet this week, so I hardly know what to write about. We have been hanging out at home in the houseboat a lot, and it has been very nice. We have been working on the computers, sorting and mending clothes, ordering some new clothes and watching TV series.
Watching TV series and documentaries
I (Helena) love watching TV series. You might not think so, but that's probably because I almost never have the time. When we do, it feels like so luxurious. Do you have any suggestions for TV series you like? Here are some we like:
- Game of Thrones
- The Crown
- The Americans
- Ozark
- Stranger Things
- House of Cards
- The mother goose (which partly takes place in our marina)
Right now we have also started watching documentaries about the ancient world. Egypt. So Interesting! We would love to travel to Cairo, Alexandria and other exciting places in Egypt at some point.
New Year celebrations on Blidö
We spent the New Year weekend on Blidö., and it was also really nice. The top photo is from Blidö on New Year's Day! When we got home, we were still quite tired (you know, you drink a lot of bubble and turn the day around) so it was a pretty slow and relaxed day ... Now I have had time to work one day before it's the weekend again!
Best this week
The best thing this week is that we had time to rest, spend time with friends and family, and watch TV series on the sofa! What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
Soon there will be more 'normal' working days, and we also have several meetings booked with tourist agencies. It will be exciting, as we will be planning some of this year's trips and collaborations.
I plan to write a guide to El Gouna in Egypt, and I also plan to write a bit more about the food in Hungary. Then we'll see, something exciting is sure to happen!
Did you miss the last Happy Friday? Read the Christmas celebrations and (almost) days off

Nice to take it easy too! 🙂 Here we have also taken it quite calmly - if you ignore New Year's Eve then 😀.

After a New Year's Eve like that, you might need to take it easy 😉.

Nice with calm! Especially nice to read that you can appreciate calm, you are always so busy!
Also love to watch TV so we probably see a lot. Right now we are watching Friends again (the last time was when I was lying with a newly operated foot in 2013 and would be still) with the son and it is still absolutely superb! Then we like Star Wars and The Mandalorian was really good. And I look forward to the new Star Trek series with Picard! About Egypt, I find it strange that there are no good series set there with its rich mythology.
Nope, time to get active. Have to go shopping ... Sigh how boring. But it is at least wonderful that it is still Christmas holidays here at home! Have a nice weekend!

Nice to have some tips and hear which series you watch! And yes, more series should be set in Egyptian times!? Wishing you a nice weekend!

A quiet week with no activities might not be bad for you, but instead you can take the day as it comes.
What a wonderful setting you had for your New Year celebrations and so little sunshine on it.
I've almost had some regrets that I promised to work all the busy days, but now they are done and a lazy and free weekend awaits.

Happy Friday! Films and series are a great way to relax or pass the time when you're in bed. I remember Jordskott was exciting. We like Wallander as there are many familiar environments from Skåne... Flatömysteriet on svtplay from Iceland. Young Inspector Morse, The Handmaids Tale, Merlin, Outlander, Sharp Objects... Yes, there is a lot and you forget quickly!

Yes, we have also seen Jordskott, we remember liking it! We also like Wallander. And The Handmades Tale, it was good! The others you write about are unknown to me. Great with tips!

The calm week may give you a taste for more;-) The way you're flying around, you probably need a little recovery from time to time....
I like series too, but only the ones that are on TV now. There aren't that many, but the ones that are on are good. House of Cards is one of my husband's absolute favourites.
The header image is absolutely stunning by the way.

Hehe, yes, socialising and relaxing can be nice from time to time 😉.
The best thing about this week was probably that it was so short.
