Here's a list of trade fairs in 2020 for those who love travel, adventure and camping. We've collected a number of fairs that sound fun and exciting, and that might offer a dose of inspiration.

Travel and camping fairs in 2020

At the beginning of the year, it is usually almost time for Caravan Stockholm, but unfortunately the fair has been cancelled this year. The fair writes on its website that they will "return if we see that there is an opportunity to create the meeting place that is requested in an industry that is currently undergoing a change that we want to meet and accommodate".

We're waiting to see what happens with this, and in the meantime, we'll give you tips on other fairs in 2020. We have thought broadly and include not only travel and camping but also boat, photo and beverage fairs. We also include a few fairs outside Sweden's borders.

January

• Matka Nordic Travel Fair 17-19 Jan, Helsinki, Finland - Northern Europe's largest travel fair.
• Motorcycle fair 24-26 JanSwedish Fair, Gothenburg - Sweden's largest collection of mopeds, motorcycles and accessories.

February

• Båtmässan Göteborg 1-9 FebSvenska Mässan in Gothenburg - Over 400 boats and equipment and accessories for motorboats, sailboats and sport fishing.
• Travel fair in Norrköping 8 FebLouis de Geer, Norrköping - Travel, sightseeing and adventure for all tastes.
• Travel fair in Linköping 9 Feb, Linköping Konsert & Kongress - Travel, sightseeing and adventure for all tastes.
• Reiselivsmessen 15 Feb, Clarion Hotel Stavanger, Norway - Travel fair for different types of travel.
• Buying a house abroad 15-16 Feb, Stockholmsmässan Älvsjö - the largest fair in the Nordic region for buying a home abroad.

March

• Study Abroad 3-6 March - Study abroad fair. 3 March Elite Hotel Savoy Malmö, 4 March Kungsporthuset Gothenburg and 6 March Haymarket by Scandic, Stockholm.
• Motorhome Stockholm 2020 6-8 March, Kistamässan, Stockholm - Motorhomes and camping life.
• Travel fair in Visby on 7 MarchWisby Strand, Congress & Event - Travel, sightseeing and adventure for all tastes.
• ITB Berlin 7-8 March, Berlin, Germany - The world's leading travel trade fair. (Cancelled)
• All for the sea 7-15 March, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö - Sailboats, motorboats, wooden classics, water sports and lectures.
• Sport fishing fair 20-22 March, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö - Sweden's largest sport fishing exhibition.
• Swedish Bike Fair 20-22 March, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö - Bicycles, accessories, clothing and destinations.
• Photo Fair 27-29 March, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö - Photography, images, seminars, workshops, photo schools and exhibitions.

April

• Beer and whiskey fair 3-4 April, Svenska mässan, Gothenburg - Distilleries and breweries from all over the world, as well as beer, whisky, cider, rum, avec and delicacies.
• Leisure Fair in Lidköping 3-5 April, Sparbanken Lidköpings Arena - Boats, motorhomes, outdoor activities, food & drink and more.
• Seniormässan Göteborg 21-23 AprilSvenska mässan, Gothenburg - For those who want to live an active life with travel, experiences and more.
• Göteborg Vin & Deli 24-25 April, Svenska mässan, Gothenburg - Drinks from near and far, along with delicacies.

• Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf 29 Aug - 6 Sept, Düsseldorf, Germany - The largest and most important motorhome and caravan exhibition.
• Elmia Caravan Motorhome 9-13 SeptemberElmia, Jönköping - Scandinavia's largest motorhome and caravan exhibition.
• Seniormässan in Stockholm, 29 Sept - 1 Oct - For those who want to live an active life with travelling, experiences and more.

October

• Sparkling Gothenburg 16-17 October, Svenska mässan, Göteborg - Champagne, cava, crémant and other sparkling wines with delicacies.

November

• Sthlm Food & Wine 6-8 NovStockholmsmässan, Älvsjö - An event for those with an interest in food and drink.
