Elmia Husvagn Husbil postponed until 2021

TUI offers Blue Star concept in Sweden
Many Swedish families are planning to holiday in Sweden this summer, and many of them have previously holidayed at TUI's concept hotels in Greece or Spain, for example. Now Elite hotels in nine Swedish cities offer the Blue Star concept. The cities offering the concept are Helsingborg, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Örebro, Stockholm, Gävle, Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik and Luleå. TUI will also offer holiday solutions at other Elite hotels in the country, but not under the Blue Star flag.
Swedish cities promote each other
Karlstad is now cooperating under the theme '24 hours with the neighbour', Linköping, Norrköping, Västerås and Örebro by unusually advising their own residents to go to the four neighbouring cities. "Some may perceive us as competitors. But in fact we are colleagues who all have the same interest, namely to increase tourism in our part of Sweden and in our type of destinations", says Christina Leinonen, business developer for tourism at Norrköping Municipality.
Reflection of the week
We mainly base our travel news on Mondays on press releases that land in our inbox (which we supplement with googling and checking Mynewsdesk). During the corona pandemic, there has been little travel news, but it's starting to flow in again!

Hopefully things will pick up again soon - but with caution, of course.
Have a great start to the week!
