SJ launches train traveller card in Sweden

A new rail holiday card will make Sweden more accessible this summer. The card is available in several versions for adults, pensioners, students and young people. The new card can be purchased for either 15 or 30 days during the period 2 June to 22 August and entitles you to unlimited travel on all SJ day and night trains in Sweden, in 2nd class on day trains and in 2nd class seat and couchette on night trains during the period.

The demand for travel and experiences in the local area has increased sharply as a result of the corona pandemic and the UD's travel advice. Tallink Silja now takes note of this and starts offering cruises between Stockholm and Visby with its flagship Silja Symphony during the month of July.

The cruises, which will run via Mariehamn, will offer an archipelago experience, good food and drink, entertainment and tax-free shopping. To welcome travellers safely and securely, a new standard with a number of concrete safety measures has been adopted, such as limited number of passengers and distance between tables in the restaurants.
