Photo challenge in July

It is the travel blogger Maria's memoirs who organise the photo challenges and the theme for July is "people". This could be people who are the focus of the photo, groups of people, or perhaps people who happen to be passing by when taking a photo of an attraction.

An exciting, but also a bit difficult theme! I think that people often fulfil an important function in photos, even when it is not specifically the people who are in focus. At the same time, it can be a little more sensitive to photograph people than, for example, nature or buildings. It will be interesting to hear what you think of our photos! You can also see previous themes here:

Sport and play

When people engage in different sports, sometimes the camera comes out, especially when it comes to more daring adventures. Here are some photos of relatively mundane sports, from around Europe.

Yoga i Luzern
Afternoon yoga in Lucerne, Switzerland, 2018
I pulkabacken
Sledging in the Kitzsteinhorn in Austria 2018

Weddings

There is something special about weddings, isn't there? People are dressed up and celebrating in joy. Weddings are an occasion where the focus is on the people and both the bride and groom and the party can be included in the photos. Here are three different wedding photos with people.

Party and festival

When there's a party or festival going on, everything comes alive and people sometimes end up in pictures. Here are some photos from various festivities over the years.

On the move

When travelling, meeting people is an exciting and interesting part of the journey. In the pictures below, one of us is in the foreground, while the people in the background help to tell us about the place and the situation.
