We will soon be travelling to Poland and the Czech Republic with the motorhome. It will be really fun to finally travel outside the country's borders again and experience new places in two of our favourite countries. It will be even more fun if you want to follow the journey! Here is a rough plan for the route.

Travelling in Europe in times of coronavirus

It is still corona times and one should of course travel with some caution. We have long felt that we preferred to stay in Sweden, but now it feels a little calmer and we look forward to making a trip with the motorhome. Poland and the Czech Republic belong to the countries from which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lifted the advice.and also happens to be one of our favourite European countries.

We like travelling with the motorhome because we have our own home with us. It also feels good not to travel too far away, because you can't know for sure how the situation will change. We will, of course, bring masks (required in certain situations in Poland and the Czech Republic) and hand sanitiser, and we will try to keep a social distance as usual. It's great to be travelling again!

Ferry Nynäshamn - Gdansk

We will be travelling with Polferries from Nynäshamn to Gdansk. This has always been a convenient way to travel if you live in this part of Sweden. The previous ferries were rather boring, but since 2018 there is a new ferry. Peter was on press tour on board the Nova Star when it would be put into operation. However, we have never travelled on it, so it will be interesting!

Wroclaw, Poland

Wroclaw is usually described as a very beautiful city and you sometimes see pictures of the colourful Rynek marketplace. An odd detail is that more than 300 statues of dwarves are scattered throughout the city.
