TUI wants to make us dream of travelling again
Recently, the TUI's new campaign launched in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic countries. The campaign aims to keep dreams alive and inspire people to travel whenever they feel ready. "I think it is more important than ever to dream about travelling" says Lisa Rönnberg, Marketing Manager at TUI. The campaign is produced by Forsman and Bodenfors together with TUI.
Solifer motorhomes present new product segment
The brand new product range from Solifer has an elegant, functional and accessible design, says Solifer in a press release. The range includes vans, as well as semi- and fully integrated motorhomes from 6 to 7.40 metres. There are a total of 19 different models to choose from. All vehicles are well insulated and the fully integrated vehicles have a double floor, making them well suited to Nordic conditions.
Due to COVID-19, the availability of components has been limited and production has been slightly delayed. The first cars of the new model year are expected to be available in October.
International test centre for electric aircraft at Åre Östersund Airport launched
On 1 October, the Green Flyway electric aviation project opened and inaugurated the premises for an international test centre for electric aircraft and drones at Åre Östersund Airport and Frösö Park. Åre Östersund Airport is the first of Swedavia's ten airports to test and prepare the infrastructure to enable the transition to increased electrification of aviation.
Polar caravans enter Forsberg's leisure centre
Forsbergs Fritidscenter, the Nordic region's largest supplier of leisure vehicles, is now expanding its brand range with the Swedish-made caravan Polar, according to a press release. Polar's range is divided into three lines: Original, Selected and Customised. All interiors are built in the company's own carpentry workshop in Dorotea. From the autumn, Forsbergs Fritidscenter will have a number of Polar models available at the facilities in Hyssna, Stockholm, Linköping, Karlstad and squid.
Naturkompaniet starts with travelling
The hiking and home holiday trend has been growing strongly for several years and in 2019 and 2020 has broken all records. The desire for nature, mountains and the undisturbed is great. Naturkompaniet now wants to meet these needs, according to a press release. Starting in 2021, trips are offered around Sweden and neighbouring countries.
The trips include both week-long expeditions and long weekends aimed at both experienced and novice travellers. "Something Naturkompaniet can offer in addition to the trips themselves is that you can test, borrow and learn more about different types of equipment during the trip," says Henrik Hoffman, CEO of Naturkompaniet.
