Friday again! We are working on keeping good habits during the weekdays, and this week we have also been refreshed by a fun event and a trip to an island in Lake Mälaren. Happy Friday!

Work on good habits
We continue to work on our new good habits. We jog in Karlberg Park every weekday morning, and now we are in the fourth week. It feels really good that we are still going strong!
For lunch we usually eat instant noodles, which you boil up in a few minutes with a ready-made spice mixture. Quick, cheap and easy! But we don't stay full for long, so now we've started boosting the noodles with pieces of cooked chicken and broccoli. Both tastier and better meal!
Walk to work
I (Helena) work from home now, but this week I spent a day at work getting technical support on my computer. What lovely autumn colours it is now!
Events with Italian flavours
This week it was also time for events again. There were two Italian regions that presented, and then we were invited to an Italian dinner. Both interesting and nice! I will tell you more soon. In the meantime, we offer a picture from our "pre-meeting" at Vapiano. Since we knew that dinner would be late, we each ordered a bruschetta. Good that you can order something small!
Travelling to an island in Lake Mälaren
Yesterday we went to Ringsö in Lake Mälaren, where our friends Lennart and Beata have built a specialised log house. We will spend a few days here, and we have plans to fish by laying nets, help them build a staircase, work at the computers in a different environment and of course socialise and have fun.
To get to Ringsö you need your own boat, so Lennart and Beata met us by boat and drove us over. We will come back later and tell you how the fishing is going!
Best this week
This has been a good week! Autumn is beautiful right now and little highlights, like an event and a trip to an island in Lake Mälaren, make me feel better. What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
Now it's island life and fishing for a few days. Next week it is also time for an annual important travel fair for the industry, although this year it will be a little adapted to the circumstances. I also hope that I will soon have time to write about the Polish city of Łódź, which we became really fond of but which I have not had time to write about yet.

Lots of other stuff and some concrete says:
The most fun part of my week was a campervan trip to Norrtälje and a guided historical walk. It was about medieval horror and other horrors. We were invited to this instead of going to a birthday party!

What a great week you had! I thought my professional life was over after the summer but suddenly I have been working three days again...
I'm glad that there are some events again for you even if the spread of infection means that at least we are currently quite happy to be at home even though our annual long-distance travel month of November is just around the corner....

Yes, it's so sad and annoying that the spread of infection is increasing again. We feel that it's fun to do things, but you have to be careful.

Then I hope that the fishing luck is with you and that you report what you got in the nets. Good luck anyway, as it's not particularly warm outside right now. Guess you and Beata leave the fishing to the guys.
