This week has been filled with exciting meetings on various interesting collaborations. In the evenings, we've been eating a boring diet and watching an inspiring TV series that makes you want to travel. Happy Friday!

Exciting meetings
There have been many exciting meetings this week on a wide range of collaborations. We have had a meeting on new products in web shops, a meeting about a digital magazine and a meeting with a company offering a new way to experience destinations. When things settle down, we will of course tell you more. For now, here's a picture from one of the meeting lunches - a prawn salad at Urban Deli. Yummy!
Inspirational TV series
We recently received a tip about the TV series "Channels, boats and love", which is shown on the UR Play. The series is not new at all, but it is new to us. The elderly British actor couple Timothy West and Prunella Scales (Sybil in Fawlty Towers/Pang in Construction) are travelling on canals and other waterways around the world.
We happened to start season 4 and have followed the couple on waterways through England, Italy, Egypt, Argentina, Canada and Vietnam. Fantastically interesting journeys! When we start season 1, we will see them travelling on the Göta Canal and in the Stockholm archipelago.
A very nice and interesting series even if it is a bit sad at times, as you realise that Pru has a dementia disease that is slowly getting worse. The series is really recommended if you are sitting at home and want to go "travelling"!
Boring diet - and hospital visits
By the way, we've had a very boring diet this week, as Peter is having a gastric examination at the hospital, and had strict dietary restrictions for that. It all culminated yesterday with some disgusting mixture to be drunk.
"I have to pretend it's wine," said Peter.
"But then you must have a wine glass," I said.
Did it taste better for that? No, hardly. The only "happy" thing about this is that it will soon be over. We hope that Peter can get help with the pain in his stomach and that we can eat as usual again soon. Grateful to live in a society and in a historical time when you have access to modern healthcare.
Video from Wroclaw
When we travel, Peter usually films, but the films are often not ready when I publish the blog post about the destination. If you want to see a small video from beautiful Wroclaw in Poland you can check this out! Peter has been playing and being creative!
Best this week
Best this week? Well, it's that this diet and medical examination will soon be over ... Do you have anything positive from your week to tell us about?
The week ahead
We might go on a little mini-trip (within the country) at the end of next week. We're also getting closer to being able to tell you about the Polish city of Łódź, which we visited at the end of the Czech Republic and Poland trip. So far we have only been able to tell you about Radegast railway stationbut there are certainly very more to say about this city. It was perhaps the place that surprised us the most throughout the trip.
By the way, do you see the white spots on the jetty next to our boat? It's obviously the heron with a bad stomach ... Happy Friday!
Did you miss the last Happy Friday? Read the Morning jogs, autumn dinners and LPs.
Mr Nils-Åke Hansson says:
It is really nice to watch the canoe trips. A colleague of mine who rented a canal boat on holiday had a lot of exciting stories to tell.

Have seen some of that TV series and like it. But as I said, it's a bit tragic too, although her husband handles the situation in a very nice way, I think.
I hope Peter is getting good help now and that he will get rid of his stomach problems!
Have a nice Friday!
PS: The heron seems to sympathise with Peter... 😉.

Helena says:
Thank you, at least now the examination is over and the test results will come in a week or so. Yes, right? It is a very sympathetic heron that hangs out here 😉.

First of all, we hope Peter's examination goes well and that you can enjoy a good fish meal again! Diet is no fun??!
Now we are on our way home from the best part of the week; a couple of autumn days with our friends in Kungshamn where we enjoyed seafood, halibut and honest walks between the rain showers....

Helena says:
Thank you!!! The examination is over now and we can eat as usual, although it may require some recovery 😉 It sounds like you had a great time! 🙂

Really agree with what you write on FB that it is a good exercise to try to find the positive. I signed several is a gratitude list every night that served the same purpose. Incredibly powerful.
My autumn is heavy, but the most positive thing this week is that I am starting "performance conversations" with my employees and that everyone has used the year to grow and develop as employees and people. Fantastic!

Lena in Wales and Spain says:
The TV series has been running for quite some time on British TV. I've seen many episodes, but probably missed some too. I like it.
It's hard to have a boring diet, but it's probably over now.
Good health and happy holidays!

Lots of other stuff and some concrete says:
I have previously seen some of the series but not from the beginning. When you wrote that it was from the Göta Canal, I had to watch immediately. So much fun to see! And the next episode is from the Stockholm archipelago! Thanks for the tip!
