At a time when travelling abroad can be difficult, you can opt for a nice trip within Sweden instead. The fact is that we Swedes are quite spoilt for nature experiences. Because the environment varies so much from south to north, there are plenty of opportunities, depending on the season and weather, of course. There are many beautiful places in Sweden. Here are three particularly beautiful places that may be worth a visit.

Before we start, remember to keep yourself updated on the local corona restrictions that may be in place. Suddenly, the public health authorities may need to impose additional restrictions. On the other hand, this does not mean that you necessarily have to stay indoors. A walk in nature or similar is good for both body and mind.

If you're travelling by car or train, prepare a packed lunch, as there may be some waiting time, so it's a good idea to have something to entertain yourself as well.

It could be a book or a game on your mobile phone, you can find some games at Mr Green online casino. If you would like to try your hand at playing one-armed bandits, blackjack, live casino or any other fun game, you can easily pick up your mobile phone and play a little - while you are waiting for a train or in a car queue. Online casinos are convenient because you can choose when, where and how you want to play without having to worry about opening hours.

1. Kullaberg, Skåne County

The easiest way to get there is by car Kullaberg. If you take the car, you also minimise the risk of infection, as you do not come into close contact with other people. Kullaberg is a beautiful natural area in north-west Skåne. Stroll through the forest down to the artwork Nimis, have lunch down in the harbour of Mölle - the small fishing village at the foot of the mountain - or walk all the way up to the lighthouse and enjoy the most beautiful view of the Öresund.

2. Fjällbacka, Västra Götaland County.

The small fishing village of Fjällbacka has become increasingly famous in recent days, thanks to the TV series Fjällbacka Murders. And indeed, Fjällbacka village is worth a visit. Whether you enjoy the seafood buffets at the waterfront restaurants or the sunsets is hard to say.

If you like sea life, you can rent a boat and go out among many of the beautiful islands in the coastal belt outside Fjällbacka.

3. Treriksröset, Norrbotten County.

The magical place where three countries meet: Sweden, Norway and Finland. In a large geographical area around Treriksröset there are countless hiking trails. The trails have small cabins placed along the trail. These can be rented and are slightly more comfortable than sleeping in a tent, if you prefer. Remember to always seek expert advice before embarking on a hike and listen to the weather report.

High up in the north of Sweden, it can get as cold as 30 degrees below zero, temperatures that require specialised equipment. If you're embarking on a hiking trip for the first time, it might be a good idea to choose the summer months over winter. On the other hand, if you are an experienced hiker, there are skis for hire and you can be sure that it will be an unforgettable experience, not least because of the beautiful Northern Lights.
