The TUI Care Foundation has therefore launched a support programme to help local communities around the world. The programme's first initiative was '100 Helping Hands', which supports local aid organisations. The Foundation is donating €500,000 to this project. The TUI Care Foundation is involved in around 30 corona-related support projects in 18 countries, such as Aruba, Cape Verde, CroatiaMexico, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Ski in - Sausage Out: SkiStar and Scan team up for the 2020/2021 season.
Together, SkiStar and Scan are now making it easier for all "foodies" on the ski slopes with an upgraded version of the classic sausage kiosk. In collaboration with local restaurateurs in Åre, Sälen and Vemdalen, skiers are offered a Korv & Carve menu with everything from classic simple sausages with bread to street food-inspired and filling sausage dishes. You order your food on your mobile phone and when it's ready, your phone rings. No queues and no crowds. Guests can eat outdoors, in tents at the restaurant, or buy a "sausage kit" and cook themselves at the nearby barbecue.

Mr Peter Wolgast says:
We have both dogs and a motorhome, but have friends who have acquired just this year. I also think that the beginner's questions on Facebook have become more numerous.
Merry Christmas!

Yes, we can probably agree that beginner's questions are increasing, that confirms it!

Johnny Friskilä says:
I thought about it a few days ago actually, if there would be an ice hotel this year. But then I forgot the idea, until now when you gave the answer. Thank you very much! Also read about the direct line to Beirut. Exciting. Maybe it's the one that will fulfil my travel goal in 2021!

I'm glad the travel news can serve a purpose 🙂 And yes, I really hope it will be easier to fulfil travel goals soon!

BP says:
Here, too, it is noticeable that more dogs and cats are "circulating" in the courtyard. Let's hope the animals are just as loved even after the pandemic.
Ski-in Sausage-out is a recent solution. Such "kiosks" existed in the Alps in the 1970s, but they disappeared when more restaurants were built. So it's not a new idea, but it's a useful one in these corona times.

Helena says:
Well, let's hope they are loved even after the pandemic! Fun comparison with the 70s! 🙂

Haha, ski in sausage out! They are really creative in coming up with new solutions to existing needs!
