We plan to see as few people as possible this Christmas, for obvious reasons. The plan is to meet both sons and their spouses on Christmas Day, but to wait until afterwards to meet more people. So there will be many days alone in the houseboat. What will we do then? We plan to cook luxurious, exciting and interesting 3-course dinners. This will be our Christmas celebration!
The photo is from yesterday, when we cooked the first of these exclusive dinners in the our houseboat. We'll tell you more on the blog soon, so don't miss it! We ourselves are looking forward to this so much!

We usually read the newsletter from our blog colleague Christian, who runs the Food and travel blog (check it out!). In his latest newsletter he rhymed, and we can't be worse, haha. Here is our Christmas rhyme 2020:
In the winter of 2018/2019, we celebrated Christmas in beautiful Sri Lanka
absolutely perfect when you want to sunbathe and energise.
The Christmas before we hung out in Eilat and Jerusalem
we promise we were never homesick!
This year, Christmas will be less exotic, without the need to go abroad.
Instead, we enjoy the food and cyber friends we have on hand.
We wish all readers and friends a Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas! This afternoon I hope to see my siblings and their families on Zoom. Hopefully my mum and dad will also be there for a while. Mum has been asked to be Santa in the neighbouring garden so we will see. A Christmas walk with Sven and the kids and then food and presents is the plan for the day.
