Now we have finally got some winter weather here in Stockholm, for better or worse. Another thing that happened this week is that Peter was at a meeting about new products, which are being developed for the web shop. Happy Friday!

Winter is here
Winter is here! I (Helena) really like winter. I like summer too, but I am not particularly fond of darkness and rain. If I can choose between 2 plus degrees and 2 minus degrees, I choose the colder option - every day of the week! It all started with more ice than snow though. We got kana down the super slippery gangway.
Then it became more and more wintry. We go on our daily walks and I really like it when it's white. It's so beautifully everywhere. Karlberg Castle is always beautiful, but perhaps even more beautiful in winter clothes?
"There is no bad weather, only bad clothes." Jokes aside! But it is certainly more pleasant to be outside when you are not freezing! Peter also has a new jacket (anorak!) from Equestrian centre, so now we have some choice during the winter months!
One day we walked into the city centre, as we needed to run some errands. Wow, how empty it was on the streets and in the shops! At least we got to see a super cute little tram, so we took a picture of it.
Meetings on new products
As you may know, we have a online shop, where we sell gifts and other items for people who like motorhomes, caravans, camping, outdoor life, boating and more. Some products we have purchased ourselves and for others we run so-called "dropshipping" (that is, we receive and organise the order, but someone else has the stock and owns the products).
The most exciting are the products we have helped to develop together with the Swedish company Pufz. Last spring we developed trivet, dishcloths and key rings with motorhome and caravan motifs. In the spring, a brand new collection. We are still collaborating with Pufz on this and Peter has been to a meeting this week, where they looked at product samples. So exciting! The stuff is coming in the spring, so stay tuned!
More good food!
I (Helena) get really spoilt with good food. Check out this amazing prawn soup for example! It's made with shrimp shells, with fresh shrimp, cabbage and tomato meat at the bottom. Peter likes to "unplug" from the computer by cooking, which is very beneficial for me.
Best this week
Perhaps the best thing about this week is that we are another step closer to the new products. And that it's finally a bit white and nice outside of course! What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
On the blog we have started to summarise highlights from different countries, such as castles, Unesco World Heritage sites, nature experiences and so on. Really fun to go through both what we have done and what we are curious about! There will be more such posts in the future. And then we mix with some cooking, health, travel news and maybe small everyday adventures. How does that sound?
Here are some of the posts we have written so far:
- Castles and palaces in the Czech Republic
- Unesco World Heritage in Poland
- National parks in Croatia
- Nature experiences in Switzerland
- Unesco World Heritage in Belgium
Did you miss the last Happy Friday? Read the New pass ... and finally a beaver!

Interesting about your product development.
I know it might sound a bit strange, but I like dark mornings and evenings with lovely indoor lighting. I like to get up early in the winter to get a moment of darkness and cosy lighting. Maybe it sounds even stranger that I'm afraid of the dark too😀. No order here at all!
The best thing this week has been video coffee with friends, so nice to be able to meet, even if it is not in reality. Drinking tea together, talking and laughing.
Have a nice weekend!

Yes, it is wonderful with snow and especially the seasons. Where I live with the owners, the seasons can almost be erased and that's a shame.
Today has been freezing cold but the sun has been out all day and this has to be the best part of this week.
It is exciting to see what will be presented in the web shop in the future.
Have a nice weekend!
All good

Karlberg Castle in its winter colours is really beautiful. The reflections in the water are super nice.
I like your new anorak variants. They are actually garments for snowboarders. Maybe time to start with that sport. You can always start with the slippery gangway;-) Just like you Helena, I love to sit at a set table. Oh, I am so happy to act as a living dishwasher instead of cooking;-)

The best part of last week was definitely our house delivery! Now it's kind of real. Something we can touch.
