Nature tourism is increasing in Halland - now nature guides are being trained.

Halland has emerged as one of the hottest destinations for nature enthusiasts in southern Sweden. Therefore, Visit Halland is now training 40 nature guides in how to better market themselves to private individuals and conference guests, who want to go out into nature and learn more about edible plants and mushrooms, get fishing tips, discover new mountain bike trails, go game viewing or experience yoga at forest baths.

Vaxholmsbolaget asks people not to travel with them at Easter

To prevent the spread of infection, places on board Waxholmsbolaget's ships are still limited. The company can therefore not transport as many people as usual at Easter. This is Waxholmsbolaget's advice for Easter 2021:

  • Don't travel with Waxholmsbolaget unless you have to.
  • Always wear a face mask when travelling.
  • Try to avoid times when many others want to travel.
  • Remember that if you fall ill in the archipelago, you cannot take the boat home.
  • Those who live in the archipelago and have an island card are encouraged to book their place in advance via Waxholmsbolaget's customer service.
