At the beginning of 2022, Viking Line's new climate-smart vessel Viking Glory will enter service on the Stockholm - Stockholm route.Mariehamn-Turku. Now the shipping company reveals that the ship will be delivered with the Baltic Sea's first real roof top terrace, located on deck 11. Germany opens for vaccinated and recovered travellers
Summer is coming and Germany is opening up to vaccinated and recovered travellers (with certificates!). The opening is different depending on the state: Schleswig-Holstein opened for tourism on 17 May, Bavaria on 21 May and Lower Saxony only opens for domestic tourists. However, please note that there are many changes, and rules and recommendations can change at short notice. You can find up-to-date information at German Tourist Board website, as well as on the websites of the different Länder.
Reflection of the week
It still feels like the rules about travelling to other countries are a bit complicated, but at least we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Otherwise, we are happy for new pitches - it will be crowded on campsites and pitches this summer.

BP says:
Has a feeling that Viking Line's roof top terrace came about after the corona outbreak. It looks like the picture with large distances and a maximum of two people per table. Pretty smart really, just in case. Glad that Viking Line can afford to invest in a new ferry. I mean the Baltic Sea traffic has largely stood still since April last year.
Yep, there is hope.
