A thousand-year-old chicken egg has been unearthed in Israel
During the excavation of an ancient latrine pit from the Islamic period (about 1,000 years ago), archaeologists from the Israel Antiquities Authority in Yavne found something amazing: an intact... chicken eggs. The large-scale archaeological excavations have uncovered an extensive and diverse industrial area dating back to the Byzantine period. The excavations are part of the ILA's urban development project in the area.
Reflection of the week
A digital Covid certificate sounds very good! We're not expecting it to work from day one, we're waiting to see how it works in reality, but it feels like a step in the right direction!

Nils-Åke+Hansson says:
"Korskullens Camping" in the beginning of the 50's was owned by my Birgitta's parents. It was her home until 56 when they bought the villa. At that time, it was the hostel and coffee & waffles serving that mother-in-law had on the mountain, and a small area that you could camp on fans there too
But lots of tourists at the hostel even then.

It's nice that even smaller campsites (and not just resorts) end up on top lists. They are often much more cosy than the big 5-star places. Let's hope for the digital Covid passport!

I agree! It is often the big luxurious ones that get awards, but there are many smaller gems that are worth highlighting!

Got my second dose today from Pfizers so now I'm done being sprayed!
And on 1 July you will be able to collect your Covid certificate.
But we're keeping a low profile on travelling for a while, so it's best 🙂 .
Take care.....
