We wish all readers a really nice midsummer! We have come home from our long motorhome trip in southern Sweden and will celebrate Midsummer with our friends on the island of Ringsö in Lake Mälaren. Then we will continue reporting on all the gems we have seen and experienced in Sweden!

Travelling home after a long time on wheels
What a fantastic motorhome trip we were able to do! We may have worked a lot of the time, but we still managed to see and experience a lot. In fact, we've seen and done so much that we haven't had time to write about everything yet.
On the way home we had a lunch with motorhome friends in Oskarshamn, whom we got to know on the joint motorhome trip. The beach basket challenge a few years ago. Very nice! We looked around a bit and can advise that there is a really nice place to park in Oskarshamn!
What a great trip we had!
It really has been an amazing trip! We have more or less been on a roll since the beginning of April, but if we "only" count the last trip, we have been away for about a month. During this time we have experienced Skåne, Blekinge, Småland and Öland. It's very difficult to choose, but here are some highlights (of what we have been able to write about):
Then there are all the things we not had time to write about - wonderful Öland and lovely squid above all.
Vaccine
Now I (Helena) have finally received my first injection! They released my age group a while ago in the Stockholm region, but since we have been on a roll, I have had to wait a bit. However, I made sure to book an appointment directly when we got home. It feels good to have at least got dose 1!
Peter received his first dose in April and has since been waiting for a text message to arrive, as promised, or for the possibility of booking dose 2 in the app to be released. Finally, we gave up this fruitless wait and have now managed to book an appointment for him on the phone. Soon he will get his second dose!
Discount on bus journeys
We've partnered with the bus company Vy Bus4You, which offers bus travel to many cities and airports in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region. If you use the discount code FREEDOMTRAVEL7 When you book, you get a 7 % discount on the price. Click here to find and book your bus journey.
You enter the code at the end, just before payment, and you will see the price corrected to a lower price. What's in it for us? Yes, if the ticket is booked through our link and with our discount code, we get a small percentage. But above all, we can offer you a slightly cheaper bus journey!
Best this week
The best part of this week is all the wonderful travelling experiences - which we are experiencing all over again as we go through photos and write blog posts. It also feels good that I (Helena) got the first injection and that Peter finally managed to book the second one.
The week ahead
We will celebrate midsummer together with our friends on Ringsö. Then we will be home in Stockholm, at least until next weekend ... then a new adventure awaits! On the blog there will be reports both from home and from our trip to Öland.
How do you celebrate Midsummer? And what are your summer plans?

I look forward to the Öland posts!
It's good to finally have the vaccine! I had the first shot a week ago and have an appointment for the next one in two weeks.
I forgot that it is midsummer, we don't celebrate it in Spain, so I booked a lot of work on this day. But I think I still have a herring jar from Ikea in the fridge, maybe it's time to open it 🙂.
Happy Midsummer!

It's great that you've been on a roll for so long and that you've had time to see so much even though it's been a lot of work 🙂 .
The best thing this week has been the little trip we did at the beginning of the week. Two nights away from home - you have to be happy for the little things these days.
Also looking forward to the evening's non-Swedish traditional midsummer celebration that we will have in the company of happy friends 🙂 .
HAPPY MIDSUMMER!

Perfect for combining travelling and work.
We are in Spain and have been there for almost three weeks and will stay a while longer. Then Sweden awaits with both "holidays" and travel jobs for my part. Was fully vaccinated at the end of May and it feels good.
We spend Midsummer's Eve here in Torrevieja with friends, but it won't be so "Swedish".
Wishing you a happy midsummer.

I tried the same type of chairs in Västervik last year, but they were a few sizes too big for my taste. We wish you a Happy Midsummer!
