Today we present a guest post
Many Swedes are increasingly interested in travelling within Europe. A big reason for this is of course the upcoming vaccine passport and that we have all been longing for so long to start travelling as usual again. Classic charter trips to the Canary Islands, mainland Spain and Greece have already been booked by tens of thousands of Swedes for the coming summer months.
For many Swedes there is also a wonderful travelling to Italy. For many who have fallen in love with the beauty of Italy, it is also the diversity that attracts them. It has everything (and much more) for all interests and all ages. You'll find everything from beautiful beaches and world-class shopping to culture, sport and, of course, great food and drink. These are just some of the things Italy has to offer the 40 million or so people who visit the country every year.
What you want to see and discover in Italy depends on what you are interested in. The Amalfi Coast, considered by many to be Europe's most beautiful coastline, is just one of the many must-see places in Italy and is an area that you will want to return to year after year after year.
Delightful Tuscany is another must for many who love Italy, as it is for anyone who hasn't yet had the chance to visit this wonderful region. Magical nature, architecture, Florence in all its splendour and one of Italy's best food and wine districts are just some of the things that make Tuscany one of Italy's most popular destinations.
The pearls of southern Italy, such as the islands of Sardinia and Sicily, with all their beauty and beautiful beaches, are other places that will amaze you no matter how many times you choose to come back.
Football and family - most important for many Italians
Milan and Rome are other cities that many have as their absolute favourites, not least when you are interested in culture, shopping and football. For many Italians, football is one of the most important things in life, in addition to their own family, which always comes first for Italians.
A classic Rome derby between Roma and Lazio is a must-see experience. A northern derby between Milan and Juventus is another encounter where football lovers get their fill. If you want the loudest and most passionate supporters in Italy, you should undoubtedly head to Naples, the home of pizza, to watch Napoli play at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
The fact that Italy can also offer everything from luxury hotels and cosy hostels to scenic countryside accommodation also means that you can find all kinds of accommodation to enjoy for all different occasions and preferences. So, whether you have an upcoming holiday planned or unplanned for this summer, there is always room for a wonderful trip to Italy.

Nice with a post about Italy that I love. Considering that most new corona cases have been traced to Spain, Italy is definitely an option. The new cases there are a fraction of those in Spain.
Have been to the San Siro in Milan an unforgettable memory. Rome is an amazing city that has everything.

Italy is really nice! We also fell in love with Rome. We also like Umbria which is beautiful, and feels genuine and maybe a little less touristy than some other places.
