Today we're sharing our pool dreams. Who hasn't dreamed of having a pool at home? A pool isn't a necessity, which makes it all the more luxurious. We've never had our own pool, but wouldn't it be great to have a pool on the deck of the houseboat?

Our pool dreams
We have no concrete plans to get a pool, not right now anyway, but it's not completely impossible. Several of our houseboat neighbours actually have pools on deck! Now there may be some restrictions on having a pool on the deck, but we didn't want to think about that now. When you dream, you can dream freely, right?
1. Infinity feeling
There's nothing quite like infinity pools, where it feels like the pool continues into the sea, or where you can swim to the edge for a magical view of the city. A private infinity pool, that would be something!
2. crystal clear water
If you are going to have a pool, you want the pool to be well-maintained, and the water to be as crystal clear and sparkling as you sometimes see. In order for this to be possible, you may need to purchase various products. pool accessories for cleaning, which is available at Poolgiganten.
3. heated water
After all, we live in Sweden and the summer is not very long. We are also not cold swimmers. To be able to use the pool for a longer period of time, we would like a pool with heated water.
4. comfortable pool stairs
If we continue to wish freely, we wish for a pool staircase. With a staircase it is easy to go down into the pool, and it is also comfortable to sit on the steps.
5. Stylish pool lighting
In the summer, of course, it's bright all night long, but if you have heated water and want to be able to use it in the spring and autumn as well - it's great to have nice pool lighting. In addition, the lighting looks good as a decoration - even when you're not swimming.
6. A waterfall
Now that we're wishing for freedom, we might as well go all in, right? Why not a waterfall? Imagine a small private pool with a gorgeous waterfall along one edge. We'll put that on our wish list for our pool dreams right away!
7. pool roof
Some kind of pool cover is a good idea to keep the pool warm and prevent leaves and bugs from getting into the water. It probably works with a simple pool cover, but now we want to be free and then it would be nice to have a fresh pool roof.

We have thought about the pool, not least now that there is more "Swedish summer" and less travelling abroad. It is important that there is good weather in the summers just so you use it! 🙂

Yes, now it has really become more holidays at home in Sweden, for most people! I think we have been quite lucky with the weather so far, one must hope that it continues like that!!!
