The weeks go by quickly and it's already Monday again, which of course means travel news here at FREEDOMtravel. This week it's all about Thailand, Christmas celebrations and an accessibility award. Stay tuned!

Thailand bookings pick up after restrictions lifted
Many Swedes have not had the opportunity to visit Thailand for almost two years - and many have been looking forward to it. After the announcement that Thailand now welcomes Swedish tourists without quarantine requirements, travel bookings have increased fivefold and some departures over Christmas and New Year are already sold out. The travel company TUI sees a clear trend that many who book Thailand want to be away for a longer period. Most popular resorts in Thailand this winter:
- Phuket
- Khao Lak
- Koh Lanta
- Krabi

Soon time for the Travel News Market 2021
Travel News Market is a trade fair for people and companies in the travel industry. Last year, the fair was cancelled at short notice due to the pandemic. On 11 November 2021, it's finally happening, and if you're not going yourself, you can at least expect a report here at FREEDOMtravel.
The panorama trail in Lofsdalen receives Härjedalen municipality's accessibility award 2021
Lofsdalsfjällens turistnäring ekonomisk förening (LTEF) receives Härjedalen municipality's accessibility award 2021 for the Panorama Trail, which makes it possible to get up the mountain regardless of functional variation. Panormaleden is a 2.1-kilometre-long multi-track in Lofsdalen Mountain Park MTB intended for cycling and hiking, which was completed in the summer of 2021. The trail is adapted for accessibility and welcomes the whole family as well as wheelchairs, walkers, balance bikes and prams.
Reflection of the week
The most interesting thing for us this week is that it is time for the Travel News Market trade fair, which is usually a good opportunity to meet and network with others in the industry. We will return with a report!

It will be fun to read your report on the Travel News Market. Guess that the event will be a highlight as Travel News Market was cancelled last year. You get great value for money at the mingle afterwards. €24 is nothing for what is offered. Have a really nice time!
