What winter weather we got! When it is this cold and white, we think it is really nice. Fortunately, we had time to put the motorhome in winter storage. just before the snow. Happy Friday!

Cinema at the Capitol - No Time to Die
Last weekend we went to the cinema and saw the new Bond film "No Time to Die". I really don't know when we were at the cinema last - it must have been quite a few years ago. The film was really good and also quite surprising at the end (if you haven't read spoiler reviews, which we hadn't). It was extra fun to see the film because we recently visited James Bond Museum in Småland!
We must also say that the Capitol cinema, on St Eriksgatan in Stockholm, is a very nice cinema. Not only do you sit in comfortable folding chairs and the film is presented by a live person, but you can also order more luxurious snacks from the lounge menu, such as wine and olives.
At selected screenings, there are also a number of places where you can order dine-in and enjoy, for example, sea bass or pollack pizza in front of the cinema screen. Or you can eat in the bistro before or after the film. We'd love to come back here!
Motorhome in winter storage
Our beloved motorhome took us on a lovely tour in Småland in mid-November, but it had to be the last motorhome trip of the year. Now we have returned the motorhome for winter storage in a heated barn.
We will of course miss FREEDOM during the winter months, but it feels like really nice that it will stay indoors this winter. We are also happy that we managed to get it under cover before the snow came - it was at the last second!
Visit from Norway
This week we have a visit from Norwegian Instagrammer Hannah, from @hannahlates who we got to know on a trip in Bulgaria earlier this year. She is going to some meetings in Stockholm and is staying with us in the houseboat in the meantime. It's great to see her again! We had a lot of fun together in Bulgaria, and when we meet now it feels like we have a lot to talk about!
Lovely winter days
It has become cold in Stockholm, and it is actually really nice when the snow settles in the city. I (Helena) walked with Hannah to her meetings in the city yesterday, and took the opportunity to take some photos during the walk.
I do not know how many times I have photographed Karlberg Castle, but it is always just as beautiful. Or it's a little extra nice when it's nestled in winter-white snow!
Best this week
The best thing about this week is that we managed to fix the winter storage for the camper, and that we managed to drive the car there before the snow came! It is also great fun to have Hannah visiting. In addition, we have a lot going on. Peter has had (and has) a total of five (!) meetings with various partners this week. We will of course tell you more in the future! Now we would like to hear what has been the best part of your week ...!!!
The week ahead
We will continue to stay at home in the houseboat, in Stockholm. Next week we have four meetings with partners and a Christmas party booked, so it won't be boring! We have not had time to plan what will be published on freedomtravel.se ... but as usual there will be a report every morning at 6:00 am!

Really a nice week. I'm glad that most things are running smoothly for you and that there are plenty of co-operation partners. Very important for you. And I understand that a visit to Capitol refreshed me. Nice to be able to order some snacks/food and drink. I was here earlier this autumn.
And yes, Karlberg Castle is beautiful. Wonderful pictures. If you have not yet gone here on a tour, I recommend it and preferably also a look into the beautiful chapel. Karlberg Castle and the park are a bit like home for me and I have been here a lot.
Best of the week? Among other things, a nice visit to the Nordic Museum, lunch with a book meeting at the fine hotel and restaurant Villa Dagmar, meeting friends, an outdoor dinner, and experiencing a very nice treatment by the Swedish healthcare system.
Wishing you a good weekend. .

Interesting, do they have tours at Karlberg Castle! We didn't know that, maybe we'll check it out! How nice it sounds with museum visits and so many other social and nice meetings! Wishing a continued nice weekend!!!

They have previously had nice guided tours here at Karlberg but do not know if they are down now... Maybe they will return in the spring if the pandemic stays away. I know that they are restoring a lot as well.
But well worth taking a closer look at the castle, the hall and the chapel.

How nice for Freedom to spend the winter under a roof in warmth. Here we hardly understand where the weeks are going and suddenly we have made it through November. This week we have been social and had both lunch and evening guests, so cosy!
I also had a lovely Monday with my friends when we rented a bakery and came home with lots of good bread.
Next week we hope to have some "Christmas excursions".
Good for you that collaborations and events are going well!

Yes, it feels good to have Freedom indoors this winter. The cold is a bit hard on it after all. Nice with guests and excursions! Wishing a continued nice weekend!

The header picture is a highlight. An absolutely marvellous photo.
What luck, or skill, that you managed to winterise Freedom in time. He would probably have been very cold if he had been left outside or in an unheated barn.
Fun with a visit from Norway and fun with so many balls in the air. Full roll is much more fun than not being busy.

Glad you like the picture! It was nice with the ice and the wintry feeling I thought 🙂 Freedom is happy to stand inside! (We have had it outdoors some winters, but it wears on it)

Beautiful pictures even though snow is not my thing 🙂 always have such a hard time choosing "the best" think every day is fantastic and enjoy it. But maybe it is still that the porch is no longer loaded with pallets so it can be used again.
