What a week! On the one hand, the days are monotonous, with us mostly sitting at home in the boat or going for walks. On the other hand, things are still happening - via video meetings, phone calls and collaborations. This week resulted in an external article, a published interview and a first press release.
Table of contents
Article on the Glasriket website
A little while ago we wrote an article about our lovely autumn trip in Småland. Kingdom of glass, which has now been published on the Glasriket website. If you have been reading our reports here on freedomtravel.se, there is no new information to expect, but the article is of course written in a new way. If you are curious to see it you can look here. We think it's great to be featured on their site!
Interview on the Czech Republic website
Peter has also been interviewed about our experiences of travelling with a motorhome in the Czech Republic, by a writer who was writing an article for the Czech Tourist Board. The article is now published on the Czech Republic website and you can read it here. We have to say that the interview questions were fun, because it made us think back to all the great trips in the Czech Republic!
A first press release on Mynewsdesk
This week we also launched our newsroom on the PR site Mynewsdesk and issued our first press release. Yay! Here you can check out our newsroom and here you can read our first press releaseif you are curious. We have been thinking about and planning for this for a long time now, so it feels really good to be on track. Over time, we will of course fill the newsroom with more news, pictures, events and more.
Storm, cooking and TV series
What else? Last night it stormed like hell. I (Helena) slept deeply and didn't notice anything at all. Peter, however, was up and collected all the spice jars from the kitchen counters so they would not fall to the floor ...
We (read Peter) continue to cook with under knowledge and I happily eat one tasty dish after another. I can tell you that chicken will be fantastic cooked in sous vide. Together with fresh pasta, tomato sauce, corn, black olives, artichokes and spring onions, it became a favourite dish that I will ask for again.
In the evening we watch TV series. We just watched "Goliath" on Amazon, which we liked a lot, but which is quite special. Right now we are watching "Marco Polo" on Netflix, a series that is both exciting and interesting. Not all of the historical details are correct, but the main features are reasonably accurate, and we are learning a lot about China and Mongolia in the 13th century while also reading!
Best this week
Best thing this week? It's that we finally got started with Mynewsdesk and issued our first press release! What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
The week ahead? Well, at the risk of repeating ourselves, we can reveal that we continue to hang out in the Stockholm. There will be houseboat life, work and maybe a museum. Happy Friday!

I'm glad that your business seems to be in full swing.
Here are probably the week's best a couple of excursions and today we have been to the police and got new passports. Now we just hope for the opportunity to use them too!
The chicken is delicious in sous vide!

The passports are good to have! When it suddenly drops, everyone will fix passes and then there will be a queue, so smart to have fixed! Nice weekend!!!

The best of the week? Quite a few; visit again to Hallwylska and mainly to see their solo exhibition on "Gays" but also with a nice visit to the "residence".
Dinner in batches with friends, a job that came in, plus I sold some pictures without making any effort myself. Definitely a good week.
Have a nice weekend

Congratulations on all the articles and especially congratulations on having your own newsroom on Mynewsdesk. Everyone who looks for press releases/news ploughs through that site at least once a day. Good luck with the project and the guest writers. I thought influencers were "only" in fashion, cosmetics and interior design. I was completely wrong there...
21 January 2022 - 18:32
Helena says:
Thank you so much!!! Well, you can probably be an influencer in any area. Then there are perhaps the biggest in the areas you describe!
