We have finally updated our list of campsites! Our list of campsites and pitches in Sweden has unfortunately been mistreated for quite some time, but now it's back in order. We hope to offer some tips and inspiration!

Stand list for Sweden - finally updated!
Many, many years ago, we created a list of pitches for Sweden, where we entered all the pitches and campsites we visited. In order to get some kind of order, we put them in from north to south. It worked very well for the first few years, you could say. Then we visited more and more campsites and pitches, so the list just got longer and longer ...
From the time we travelled along the Göta Canal In the summer of 2020 we stopped updating the list. It simply felt like an unreasonable project ... Since then, we have travelled more and more in Sweden with the motorhome and the pitch list has been a constant guilty conscience. But now, finally, we've taken the matter in hand, fixed a new structure, and updated the list!
Scoreboard with new structure - start with 'Sweden'
The new list of pitches is structured by landscape. It is still "north to south", but landscape by landscape. You simply go to the page "Campsites and pitches in Sweden" and then select the landscape you are interested in - either through the "Table of Contents" or by scrolling down.
Campsites and pitches in Sweden
Here you will find campsites and pitches in Sweden, listed from north to south. All sites have been visited by us, Helena and Peter. We also suggest things to see and do in the neighbourhood.
Proceed to the desired landscape
When you are in the Swedish list of sites, you can choose to click on the desired country page, for example "Campsites and pitches in Uppland". Here we tell you about campsites and pitches, from north to south in the countryside. We also suggest things to see and do in the neighbourhood.
Please note that we have not travelled much in the northern regions, so the list is rather thin. In central and southern Sweden, however, we have visited lots of places and have many tips, both on campsites and on sights and experiences!
Campsites and pitches in Uppland
Here you will find campsites and pitches in Uppland, listed from north to south. All sites have been visited by us, Helena and Peter. We also suggest things to see and do in the neighbourhood.
Here you can find our list of pitches
You can always find our list of pitches in the menu. Under "Pitches" and "Campsites and pitches in the Nordic countries" you will find "Campsites and pitches in Sweden”.
Are you missing something in our pitch list?
Are you missing any information in our list of pitches? Would you like the organisation to be different in some way? Feel free to shout! We will endeavour to keep the list updated in the future.
New motorhome holidays this spring
When we were working on updating the pitch list, we were really keen to get out with the motorhome again, and discover more of Sweden! We will have to calm down a bit, until it is spring, but we are starting to make plans. Among other things, we can reveal that we are curious about Bohuslän! Do you have any motorhome or travel plans for spring yet?

How fun that you made a list of campsites in Sweden! Who knows, maybe we'll rent a motorhome for the first time this summer? You don't know what will happen with travelling abroad in the future?
Have fun!
Hugs!

Yes, it has become different! You get used to the fact that you never know, and that you have to take it as it comes ... Motorhomes in Sweden are a very nice and fun way to travel, and that works even if you can't travel abroad. Fun if it becomes a motorhome for you! 🙂

So good with a list! We had it in mind before too but it never became more than that 😅.
We thought about going to Holland and Germany but with the corona raging we will probably wait a year. It will be travelling in the local area!
Bohus is beautiful! Are you full of tips already?

It's a bit difficult to plan nowadays! We can travel abroad as well, but we don't plan yet but take it as it comes. Happy to receive tips on Bohuslän, but no rush. It takes time before we leave 😉.
