Orsa predator park will gradually be closed down, according to the Grönklittsgruppen. The reason is said to be a decline in visitor numbers and increased costs. The park will be closed to the public in October 2022, until then the park will remain open as usual. The operation is expected to be fully phased out within 24 months at the latest. Instead, a new, large accommodation concept will be introduced, growth of the conference business and a powerful expansion of the summertime offer.

Reflection of the week
We know that a Swedish passport is good for those who want to travel, but it's good to think about it. Not everyone has the same opportunities.
We visited Orsa Predator Park many years ago, and remember it as a nice visit. Sad that the park is closing!

I remember when Orsa Park opened and visited it quite soon after it opened. I then discovered that a classmate from the animal care programme worked there, which was a surprise.
It's a shame that they're clapping again now...

Another victim of the pandemic - the Orsa Zoo. What a shame!
Quite funny that they are opening a flight line to Cologne. Because that city has never been a "direct flight line".
Fun with the Swedish passport. Just thank you and receive:-)
