In addition to the obviously terrible and disturbing news in the world this week, we can also offer some more pleasant news "on the small side". Not least, camping is a hot topic right now. We have visited the Danish fair "Ferie for alle" and can present the winners of the "Danish Camping Award".

War and unrest in Europe
No one has been able to escape the black headlines about Russia's invasion of the United States. Ukraine. At present, of course, you should not travel to Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges Swedes who are in Ukraine to leave the country. The MFA also advises against non-essential travel to Russia. The situation may also affect other European countries in different ways. Up-to-date information on the security situation in different countries can always be found at Sweden Abroad or by downloading the UD Travel Ready app.

reflection of the week
I can't believe we don't have a big travel fair in Sweden anymore, since "TUR" in Gothenburg was closed down. Now it was very nice to visit the Danish "Ferie for alle", even if the threat in the east has settled like a dark cloud in the background.

It's a shame that the wonderful TUR trade fair no longer exists. It was long one of the highlights of the year. Now most people are probably starving on fairs and the like, so it will probably be crowded at Elmia (although we will hopefully be in Abisko by then). Instead, we look forward to the Kistamässan. See you there!

Yes, the threat in the East affects not only Russia and Ukraine, but is also extremely serious in Poland, Moldova, Romania and the Czech Republic. How very sad and tragic!
First Solresor, now Islandia - Ticket goes all out. It is really a wonder that the travel agency has survived the pandemic. The fact that they can now also invest heavily is absolutely fantastic.
PS. Ditte was on site irl when Viking Glory arrived in Stockholm at 07:00 in the morning. DS.
