Here is a first report from the fair "Husbil Stockholm 2022 - Freedom on wheels" at Kistamässan. What a first day! Very fun and very, very intense.

Day 1 at Husbil Stockholm 2022
We woke up early on Friday morning and were at the fair in good time. So were the other exhibitors: campervan companies, accessory shops, camping magazines, associations and olive sellers.
When the clock struck 10:00, the visitors poured in. We were almost slightly shocked. We thought the morning would get off to a soft start, but no, everyone came at once...!
Our stand
Our 30 square metre stand was ready when the fair opened. We were ready to hand out magazines, offer travel inspiration to destinations at our Destination Square and sell products/gifts from our Destination Centre. online shop.
Our partners from BestPark demonstrated the new motorhome/caravan service point to a crowd of interested spectators and our partners from various destinations answered questions about their respective destinations.
Thank goodness we had help at the stand! Peter's brother Micke and eldest son Robin's mum Jeanette helped distribute brochures and sell products. Thanks again, without you it would not have been possible!
Great pressure on destinations
Throughout the day there were great pressure on destinations. Our destination square was popular, and people wanted both brochures and to talk about travelling in general. On Friday, both the German Tourist Board and the Swedish National Heritage Board were present at our stand, which of course was great for everyone who wanted tips and information.
You can really tell that people are keen to get out and travel! We noticed that the demand for Swedish destinations is high, but foreign destinations are also attractive.
Great meetings
Of course there were many wonderful meetings! Most of them I unfortunately missed to record, as it was constantly hectic, but Britt-Marie and Lars from bm.lars.travelblog got caught in the picture. So nice to see you again!
Don't miss the Saturday lectures!
On Friday we talked about Skåne and Poland. Today, Saturday, you could say that there is a "glass theme". In the morning we talk about the Crystal Valley in the Czech Republic and in the afternoon about the Glass Kingdom in Småland.
On both occasions there is a chance for you as an audience member to win a really nice prize - all you have to do is be there during the lecture and have a bit of luck! We will also be awarding the "Destination of the Year" prize. Don't miss it!

We understand that you were busy yesterday! It seems that there is a pent-up need for many people to go to fairs and the like again. We ourselves do not know where the day went, suddenly it was 17 o'clock.
Now we are on our way home and even more eager to get the motorhome out as soon as possible!

Good for you with such a large stand, it's good that you have help when so many people come. It's been a long time since there has been a fair and also free entry, so maybe it attracts more people than usual.
