Life on wheels, that is! We really love being out with the motorhome. New views every day, new experiences and new meetings with people. The last few days have been intense, and it will be even more intense!

Skåne
We have spent a bunch of lovely days in Skåne, among other things, in beautiful Helsingborg, where we stood well in the parking area in the North Harbour.
We also visited nice Malmö, which was more or less a new acquaintance for us. I (Helena) did indeed grow up in LundBut despite that, I have been to Malmö very few times. Maybe it was too close to go there! In any case, it happened, and we liked Malmö. At some point we will return to explore the city more.
Meetings with friends
One of the most fun things about being on the road is meeting new and old friends. In Malmö we met the travel bloggers Travelsis, which we have already told you about. Even in Helsingborg we hung out with friends. It all started when we received a message on our phone from our friend and guest writer Marlene, who runs the Youtube channel Jikitas on an adventure.
'Have you ever stood in Norra hamnen in Helsingborg? Is it good there?" was the message. "Yes, we are here right now", we replied. Half an hour later we got an unexpected visit, and it was a nice evening over a glass of wine. Motorhome life is always full of surprises!
Ferry journey - time to read!
After Helsingborg and Malmö it was time to continue the journey - towards Germany! We travelled with Finnlines from Malmö to Travemünde, and we will soon tell you more about that trip. One good thing about travelling by ferry is that you get time to read!
I started some time ago on Matts Torebring's book "A true entrepreneur under the protection of the Most High", after having followed for a long time Matt's blog. Then there was a fair with a crazy amount of work in between and I didn't have time (or peace!) to read. But now I finally got to pick up the book again!
Matt's autobiography is very interesting, and it's an incredibly fascinating journey from poverty and simple life to great entrepreneurship. You get a lot of inspiration to see opportunities and never give up. In addition, you get to read travelogues from motorhome life around Europe!
New adventures
We arrived in Travemünde in the middle of the night (because we chose that departure, there are other times to choose!) and drove directly all the way to the centre. Hamburg, where we turned into the "Parkplatz am Strand Pauli" car park at 2am. Here awaits a few days of intensive press trip!
Best this week
The best part of this week is being on a roll, with new adventures constantly ahead of us! Another fun thing is that we have just been informed that we have changed the name of our company to Freedomtravel AB!

The week ahead

The best thing that happened this week is that we got into that wonderful motorhome feeling when you no longer know what day of the week it is. Now that we're on our way to our next destination, I took the opportunity to read some blogs and was greeted by "Happy Friday". Wow, is it already Friday again??
You will certainly have some nice days with a packed programme in Hamburg. It will be fun to see where you go next, maybe the roads will cross ...

How wonderful it sounds! Yes, it is freedom when you start a motorhome / camping. We make some small excursions in the local area. Among other things, we were on a day trip with the Landrover Club. Very nice and many new acquaintances! Then we celebrated the son in his new apartment.
The week has then been recovery 😊. Also discovered all the spring flowers that have arrived!!!
The best time is now!

It will be exciting to read what you think about Hamburg. Then I wonder if it is a holiday trip you are on or a "business trip"? I mean, rushing from one place to another and not really catching up is a bit exhausting or ...?
PS. Have been thinking about Matts Torebring's book. Don't read his blog, but have seen his sometimes rather "pushy" comments on your blog. He doesn't seem to be an ordinary Svensson either;-)

It would be great to have this much holiday time, but unfortunately we don't. We love travelling and to make this possible we work from the camper van, which serves as our rolling office. We get to experience many great moments, but we don't have a holiday.
