Travellers name Malmö C as Station of the Year
Many of Sweden's stations lack information, customer service and signage for travellers. The consumer organisation Resenärerna has surveyed passenger service at over 400 stations in Sweden and is launching the Station of the Year award. The Travellers' Association appoints Malmö C because it is easy to understand for regular commuters, infrequent travellers and tourists. This includes the possibility of personalised service and over-the-counter ticket purchase.
SJ returns to profitability and invests heavily
A sharp increase in demand for climate-smart and comfortable rail travel means that SJ has returned to normal levels after the pandemic and is once again profitable after two loss-making years. During the quarter, travel increased by 127 per cent compared to the same period last year. The entire railway industry is currently affected by a shortage of train drivers and SJ is starting train driver training under its own auspices to increase the number of trained train drivers.

Ditte says:
Sweden has so much to offer! Just help yourself.
I hope that SJ gets a better grip on its departures and that fewer trains are cancelled. Right now it is unsafe to travel with them or trains in general And so even if one is only going to Uppsala.
Mälartåg and MTR, like SJ, also have many cancelled departures. Sad! Hope it can help with more staff and better management of everything else too.

Sorry to hear that the trains are so unsafe! It does not make more people choose trains, unfortunately. I really hope this gets better!
