From the Czech Republic to Germany

So we are now in Germany, but freedomtravel.se will focus on the Czech Republic for a few more days. We experienced so much there, so we haven't had time to tell you about everything yet. And although we will continue to write about the Czech Republic for a few days, we have also saved some reports for the autumn.

In both the Czech Republic and Germany, there have been many nature experiences. Many stairs indeed, but at the same time very lovely and relaxing to spend time in nature. Now it's getting a bit more urban again ...

Beautiful scenery ... and another staircase to climb.

How does it work without LPG?

If you read last Happy Fridayyou know we've run out of LPG. We have checked Reiselinda's fine map to fill Swedish LPG tanks abroad, but think that the listed places in Germany are so close to Sweden that we will probably have to make it all the way home. However, I like the initiative with this map very a lot!

So, how is it going? So far so good! When we are on the road, we run the fridge on 12 volts. At night we make sure we stay in places with electricity, which so far has not been a problem. We've bought an electric hob and Peter is very happy. fantastic to conjure up meals with just one plate. Of course, the freedom is somewhat limited and overnight stays are a bit more expensive on average, but for a short period of time it's fine.

The summer magazine is available as an e-magazine.

FREEDOMtravel Summer Magazine is now available as an e-magazine! You can find it by click here. Would you rather hold a physical version in your hand? Then you can look at the reception desk at campsites between Mora and Ystad. The magazine is available at 600 campsites and is published in the magazine "Husbil och Husvagn på Väg".

Comments that make us happy

We get a lot of comments that make us happy, and we think it's great that some people comment often! Then there are also some comments that are warming a little extra. These are comments that confirm that we were able to help or advise someone. These kinds of comments make all the work worthwhile a thousand times over! Here are two comments from the week that made us very happy:

The motorhome fridge stopped working on the LPG. Yes even 12v. Disaster when we were in Germany. I started to see thousands of dollars go up in smoke and the food we had had to be thrown away. But then I googled it and there you were and what could be the problem. Did as your clear pictures and text and HURRA! The fridge works again and even the 12v which only runs when the engine is running. A thousand and again a thousand thanks.

Hello!!! Thank you so much for sharing your trip and giving so many tips on what to do in the Czech Republic! We follow in your footsteps:). Today we are here in Mala Skala and we have both canoed and cycled on the scooter. So nice! Really to recommend. If we had not read in your blog, we would never have found here. So thank you again!

Best this week

The best thing about this week? It is probably that the summer magazine is being delivered to campsites and that we feel a little less overwhelmed by work assignments. Right now we are hanging out in Germany, without any collaborations or big deadlines, which allows us to slow down a bit.

And for you ... what has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead

In the coming week we will continue travelling in Germany. We have already visited Saxon Switzerland and Dresden (reports will be delayed) and will now focus on some exciting places in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.
