In July we had a record number of visitors to freedomtravel.se. Fun! It is also wonderful to travel along the idyllic coast of Bohuslän. In addition, there is of course a lot of everyday life and work along the journey. Happy Friday!

Glorious Bohuslän

Bohuslän really is as fantastically idyllic and picturesque as you think it should be. We have seen some of Bohuslän before. Among other things, we visited Hamburgsund 2020. MenIn general, we have travelled very little in this part of Sweden, and most places are completely new to us.

We can only agree with many others that it is fantastically fine here. Below you can see the reports we have written so far, but there are more to come!

Daily life with work

You might think that we hang out on idyllic islands in the sunshine all day, but life is not quite that simple. We have a lot of nice days on the cliffs of Bohuslän, but in between we sit inside the motorhome and work.

There are finances to be managed, reports to be compiled for co-operation partners, articles to be written for the Housecars shop to be written and all sorts of other things. There are always work tasks!

Record number of visitors to freedomtravel.se

Last year, in April, we experienced a lot of... record attendance when we almost reached 100 000 unique visitors in one month (99 915 to be exact). We thought it was unbelievable to reach so many readers in one month.

Now, in July 2022, we beat this by far. Because we had 133 444 unique visitorsbetween 1 July and 31 July. A bit dizzying actually, but incredibly fun! As you can see from the curve below, there is no particular "peak" that led to the figures, but the level of visits has been fairly even.

Who were the readers of freedomtravel.co.uk in July?

Google Analytics, which we use, tells us a lot about the readers who visit, which is kind of interesting.

Where are the readers?

The readers are mainly in Sweden, which is natural as we write in Swedish. But some Swedes are of course abroad. And we also tend to have a small number of readers in Norway and Finland.

How old are the readers?

We have readers of all ages, although a large proportion tend to be middle-aged or older. In July, however, we can say that the ages were more evenly distributed than usual.

Are the readers women or men?

The gender distribution among our readers is usually fairly even, but with a slightly higher proportion of women. This July it was perhaps more even than ever!

Best this week

The best thing about this week is that we get to experience fantastic Bohuslän. We are also very happy that so many people have found freedomtravel.se during July! Big, big THANK YOU to everyone who follows or checks in here occasionally!
