We have been checking out caravans at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2022! Even though we are travelling by caravan ourselves, it is exciting and interesting to look at all the new (and old) caravans. Today there are all kinds of caravans - everything from large and luxurious to compact and sporty.

Looking at caravans at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2022
To check out caravans, we've been wandering around the fair. Scandinavian Caravan Show and often called on the vendors to tell them about news, trends and features. At Polar's stand, we also met Martin and Ingela from @polar family on Instagram. In addition to the fun of meeting each other, we got great help from the Polar Wagons!
There are lots of caravans (and motorhomes) at the show, of course. We choose to showcase a bunch that we found interesting, either because they're new or because they stand out or sparked our interest in some other way.
1st Kabe Royal 600 CXL
Kabe showed the new Kabe Royal 600 CXL. This trailer is really nice inside! It is characterised by a U-shaped sofa, a corner kitchen and a delicious function that allows you to get a pop-up TV, i.e. a TV that softly slides out of the wall between the sofa and the kitchen.
- Length: 8.20 metres
- Beds: 2
- Basic price: 731 thousand
2nd Kabe Estate 470 GL
Another new Kabe product on display was the Kabe Estate 470 GL. This is a slightly smaller caravan, both short and narrow by Kabe standards, which could be ideal for a couple without children.
- Length: 6.87 metres
- Beds: 2
- Basic price: 397 thousand
3. Hero Camper
The Hero Camper is a cool little Danish caravan for the adventurer, which was displayed in the hall with accessories, tents and gadgets. The caravan, which is equipped with a lithium battery, roof tent and kitchen in the tailgate, is available in four models: Amundsen, Livingstone, Columbus and Albanel. You can really feel the adventure waiting around the corner!
- Length: 4.82 metres
- Beds: 4 (up to 6)
- Basic price: 217k - 279k depending on the model
4. lume
Lume are Dutch caravans with a really cool design. The caravans are available in both a smaller and a larger version. The smaller version has a kitchen in the tailgate and no toilet. The larger version has a toilet and is available with either a kitchen inside or a kitchen in the tailgate. In both versions, there is a huge panoramic window above the bed, where you can gaze at the starry sky. A really dreamy caravan!
- Length: 5.19 - 6.94 metres depending on the model
- Beds: 2
- Basic price: 650 thousand - 1.2 million depending on the model
5th Tabbert Pep Pantiga 390 WD
Tabbert Pantiga is an interesting little trolley with a stylish, simple and discreet interior. The rear wall can be folded down over the table, turning the room into a bedroom.
- Length: 6.22 metres
- Beds: 2
- Basic price: 382 thousand
6th Tabbert Cellini 750 HTD, 2.5 Slide Out
Tabbert's caravan with slide-outs we showed the other day, in our Happy Friday posts, but it will be included here again. Slide outs stand out, both figuratively and literally ...
- Length: 10.2 metres
- Beds: 4
- Basic price: 1.16 million
7th Polar 620 BSA
Among Polar's new products was the Polar 620 BSA. Last year Polar revised the exterior design and this year they have instead polished the interior. New in this trolley is, for example, a stylish aluminium edge around the tables.
- Length: 8.55 metres
- Beds: 2-5
- Basic price: 780 thousand
8th Polar 730 FDCXA
At Polar we also checked out a nice family caravan, where they have created a homely feeling and good space for the whole family. The adults have a slightly separate bedroom, while the children have a bunk bed and their own sitting area, which can also be converted into even more beds.
- Length: 9.34 metres
- Beds: 2-6
- Basic price: 659 thousand
9th Knaus Sport and Fun
Knaus exhibited several caravans, including a slightly smaller and sportier version in the form of the Knaus Sport and Fun Black Selection 480 QL. This is a caravan that, among other things, despite being relatively small, offers good storage space.
- Length: 6.25 metres
- Beds: 4
- Basic price: 351 thousand
10th Knaus Azur
Knaus presented a novelty that can be said to be a "new-old" novelty. The model has been around for a long time, has been gone for a long time, but has now come back in a new form. An old (charming) Knaus Azur was actually shown at the fair. We will show it another day!
- Length: 7.34 metres
- Beds: 4
- Basic price: 541 thousand
11th T@B Basic
Another charming little trolley is the T@B Basic, which was shown in two different versions. The one we looked at now was a stylish grey-black, but at the Ferie for Alle trade fair in Denmark we saw a charming colourful variant.
- Length: 5.17 metres
- Beds: 2
- Basic price: 217 thousand
12th Adria Action 391 LH Sport
Adria also showed a sporty little trailer, which was also a novelty. What's new and exciting about this trailer is that it has been fitted with new tyres that are better suited to off-road driving and give it higher ground clearance. Imagine this behind a jeep!
- Length: 5.95 metres
- Beds: 3
- Basic price: 303 thousand
13th Adria Altea 402 PH
All of Adria's Altea caravans have been given a facelift. These include a new rear and front end and a new colour scheme. They have also been made a little lighter, allowing you to pack more.
- Length: 6.02 metres
- Beds: 4
- Basic price: 287 thousand
14. Hobby Beachy 420
Hobby's caravan "Beachy" is a caravan that stands out from the crowd, with a fine design in the true vanlife spirit. Here it is "back to basic" that applies. There is no heating system, no cooker and no toilet, but you have to make do with a compressor fridge and porta potti. How to cook? Well, you can't really ... Maybe bring a barbecue?
- Length: 5.68 metres
- Beds: 3
- Basic price: 206 thousand
15. Hobby 586 UL Maxia
Hobby also presented a new product in the form of the Hobby 586 UL Maxia. The most important novelty is that it has an "intermediate length", i.e. a length between the other Hobby caravans.
- Length: 6,51 m
- Beds: 4
- Basic price: 468 thousand
Which is your favourite of these caravans at Elmia Husvagn Husbil 2022?
What do you like about these caravans? Is there a favourite? Or, were you at the fair yourself and found another caravan (or motorhome) that caught your eye?
Daniel says:
hello
We were there at the fair and now I'm disappointed with the day's construction of caravans.
I have a long experience of caravanning and can say that today's caravans are not made for free camping. Today we have Tabbert devinci 780 with a perfect layout and a large shower and toilet. Today's caravans have small showers and toilets. Then the total weight is far too high because of all the unnecessary Lull lull that is in today's wagons.

Hi Daniel! Thanks for your comment! Interesting to hear about your experiences! High overall weights are often a problem in motorhomes as well.

HeroCamper, retro Lume and T@B BASIC are my favourites. But what hefty price tags...
