Want to find Mediterranean warmth in October? Autumn has arrived in Sweden and cooler winds have started to blow in. Around the Mediterranean, however, you can still enjoy mild temperatures, while avoiding the crowds of high summer this year.
Experiencing Mediterranean heat in October
Wouldn't it be nice to experience the Mediterranean heat in October? We remember spending October - and early November - in Croatia many years ago, and really enjoying the heat and tranquillity! Ticket now lists a bunch of European favourites where you can enjoy high summer heat well into October.
We encourage you to take advantage of the autumn for sun and warmth, and return to the holiday feeling. If you can go in September-October when everyone else is not travelling, you'll get a better price and less crowding. Discover the sights without long queues, and take the opportunity to get to know the locals," says Sofia Eddelid, PR and Communications Manager at Ticket.

Ditte says:
We have some destinations we would like to visit but perhaps not directly for the heat and not now in October. But heat is also in the mind.
Greenland and Svalbard are appealing, as is Kenya, where there is a substantial round trip, and South Africa with the "Garden Route". Mauritius is also attractive.
As for Svalbard and Greenland, it will be the right season, but otherwise whenever possible. We also have our small Thai village that attracts this winter.
