Then it was Friday again and time to tell you about our week. We have been out on the last motorhome trip of the year and now we have gone on an island trip in Lake Mälaren. Happy Friday!

Newsletters and press releases
Last Sunday, our newsletter finally came out as planned (you can subscribe here)! Some people already received it two Sundays ago, but there was a glitch in the transmission so it only went out to a small percentage of all subscribers. But now! Did you get it? Do you like the layout? Feel free to tell us!
This week we also pulled out all the stops and made sure to publish in the our newsroom on Mynewsdeskwhich we haven't had time to do for a while. When you have less news, you can choose to publish "news" instead of "press releases", which we did this time.
FREEDOMtravel magazine has arrived in Tunisia
Last summer, as you may know, we published the a physical warehousewhich was distributed in 100,000 copies at around 600 campsites in Sweden. Our biggest story in the magazine was about adventurers Micke and Julia, who took the campervan to Tunisia, where Micke trained as a camel rider (!) and competed in a camel race as "The Swedish Camel Rider".
When we were down in Tunisia we met Micke's friendly camel trainer Ahmed, who runs a shop in Douz in the south of the country. Now he sent us a photo on Instagram. The magazine has arrived! Although he can't read the report (which is in Swedish), he thought it was great to see it in print!
Last motorhome trip of the year
This week we have been out on the last motorhome trip of the year. It was a relatively short - but a very nice - trip. Report on Saturday!
Fishing on Ringsö with friends
Now we have travelled with our friends Lennart and Beata to their country house in Ring island in Lake Mälaren. There is no regular boat service to this island, so you have to go out on your own boat.
They have a plot of land on the island where they have built their own summer house in the form of a log house. The house is very nice and is close to a small beach with lovely views.
Sometimes we have come here to help Lennart and Beata with the construction. This time we are just here to fish together, and take it easy for a few days. Great!
Best this week
The best thing about this week is that we have been able to enjoy the nice October weather, with excursions in the local area. Not least the excursion that we will tell you about tomorrow!

The week ahead
In the coming week, we plan to put the motorhome into winter storage. We also have some interesting meetings booked. Here at FREEDOMtravel, it will be a mix of excursion tips and travel reports. Happy Friday!

We had also thought of a last motorhome trip this week but the weather on the western side of Sweden has not really shown itself from the same side as with you and when we were free, our friends in Kungshamn were busy, so we only got to see the freshly cooked lobster in a text message...
Now we will also try to get Laikan to the winter side, but there is always something that troubles so now it is the tap to the fresh water tank that does not want and it must be fixed.
Called, that's where they talked about there being too many moose???? We wish you a good weekend!

Sorry for the hassle, hope it works out as smoothly as possible! And oh, I googled now and it is true that it is Ringsö that they talked about on Swedish Radio! In fact, we saw a moose today, just outside a residential building. Apparently it had slept there last night, the people who live in the house said ... But it just looked at us from a distance and then walked away ...

Talk about a very famous travel magazine - so glad that the magazine has ended up in Tunisia:-)
Remember when Peter helped with the construction of the nice house on the island. Hope you got lots of fish and that you did not freeze to death during the fishing trip;-)

The house on Ringsö looks very cosy. What a great place to relax and recharge your batteries.
Booking a trip to Georgia is the most positive thing of the week for me. It's always nice to have something to look forward to, especially when the darkness of autumn comes....
Then I have to agree with you, the weather has, at least at times, brightened up the week.
