New service quintupled traffic - now Avionero challenges the travel giants
Since the launch of its new online service for finding the best trips, Malmö-based start-up Avionero has taken on the giant companies in the industry. In six months, Avionero has quintupled the number of visits to its site, which helps travellers find all parts of their trip - flights, hotels and experiences - in a single search. Avionero is based on a proprietary AI that does not limit itself to time, destination and price level, but takes into account temperature preferences, experiences and many other factors.
Major investment in food and drink at Arlanda and Landvetter airports
Swedavia continues to develop its service offering at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport. The new marketplace will open at Arlanda starting in 2023 and is one of the largest investments ever in food and beverage at the airport. As part of the initiative, Swedavia's partner SSP will launch some 20 completely new and well-known food and beverage concepts. The hamburger restaurant Bastard Burgers and a new café concept called Fika will open at Landvetter.
New direct route from Arlanda to Innsbruck during the winter season

Lots of new things going on! Looked into Avienero which seemed good, but we prefer to book our trips directly through the respective airlines. But one does not exclude the other.

Yes, msn can be booked in several ways! In any case, we liked the idea. I can imagine trying this again!

Exciting that with Avienero, must be checked out!
Longing to become a pensioner so you don't have to wait for a granted holiday before you can book or pay for your trip, our long-awaited trip to Gran Canaria in November seems to be cancelled by us, staff shortage both for my husband at SAS and for me at Region Stockholm, sigh!

Helena says:
How sad that you have to cancel the trip! Hope you get another opportunity, not too far away in time!

Avionero is good although I prefer to book directly with the companies.
Otherwise, we can conclude that the imagination of travellers is "great" based on where Swedes are travelling this autumn. 😏

When it comes to top travel destinations, they rarely surprise us ... and at the moment, familiar and somewhat safe destinations prevail over more adventurous ones, at least for the majority of people ...
