It's been a few years since we went on a weekend trip to any big city, due to the pandemic, but Vienna is high on the wish list as I haven't been there. Rome and Istanbul are probably the coolest cities on your list, Gdansk and Brussels we have not visited and a city we definitely missed on the list is Berlin.

Great list! And yes, there are many cities to visit.
I missed Berlin, but also London, Madrid, Dublin and Paris. But on the other hand, you can't get all the cities and it's hard to choose.

Have been to Prague, Barcelona and Rome, Brussels I have only landed in and taken the train from (really like Belgian beer!).
Would love to come to Nice and the French Riviera!
Rome is just fantastic, I've been there a couple of times and want to go back, as well as Barcelona. Prague is also a cool city, remember the Charles Bridge, the exciting clock and the cheap beer!
